I had a lovely massage thank you. It would have been nice if the cd player didn’t stop and start all the time. Also the aromatherapy aspect was not really evident in the massage oil. It seemed like plain carrier oil with little or no essential oil in it. When I’ve had aromatherapy massage before the therapist has chosen a blend specifically and explained the qualities. There was no residual lovely smell on my skin afterwards at all. That aspect was a little disappointing but the massage itself was very good.

Wonderful experience at my Spa Massage just outside York. Afer much online research, booked Deep Tissue Massage Treatments for Two (sister and self) at Shabby to Chic just outside York centre and were completely satisfied. Both Elise and Sarah were very professional taking pride in their work - both therapists took the time to listen as to which areas to concentrate on and the treatments were tailored accordingly. Wished we lived nearer, as were just in York for a couple of days - would like to go back on a regular basis to pursue a tailored treatment plan - can't speak highly enough!

Nikitta is always early for her appointments so she is set up and ready to start at the appointment time. She is very professional, but also friendly, which is not always an easy balance to find and she is very skilled. I have arthritis and fibromyalgia and some weeks I need a softer touch and some weeks my body can withstand the deep tissue massage, I don't have to guide Nikitta, she can tell by touch and caters to what my muscles require. Unfortunately the hour goes way too quickly, it feels like 20 minutes. She is a blessing in my life, what more can I say, I am one very happy 🐇

I’ve been going to Sophie for treatments for a while now and she is absolutely brilliant! Mostly been for deep tissue massages on my back, not for the faint-hearted but very effective. Sophie is professional, knowledgable, friendly and excellent at what she does. Had a lymphatic drainage massage today, which was also fabulous!

I love visiting select. The staff are chilled and friendly. They don't mind who you go with for treatments as long as you're relaxed. They're highly trained & knowledgeable and happy to chat or be quiet if I'm zoned out. The facials and hot oil massages are gorgeous, but don't plan anything afterwards because you'll be so relaxed! They're brow experts. It's not easy finding people you trust who are consistently good. For electrolysis, they're the best in York, I tried 3 other places before finding Joanne. The location is easy to find and has free parking.

Fantastic full body sports massage! I was made to feel at ease and comfortable in my own home. Would definitely recommend and I will be using again!

My first ever deep tissue massage, and my first ever appointment with Elise. Absolutely amazing experience! She worked wonders on the many areas of tension, and despite some (expected) ouchy moments working out the deep knots, I left feeling so much better physically and definitely a lot more relaxed. Just wish I had the money to have a couple of these every week! Room is lovely and cosy, absolutely adore the electric under blanket!Definitely deserves the 5 stars x

Absolutely faultless. I would have Nikitta here every week if I could. I have a BNS massage every 4 weeks which keep me upright and mobile. She is professional, but friendly so it is more like having a friend round. She arrives with a full massage bed and everything she needs. Soon you are at the end of your treatment before you even realise it began. Because she comes to you, you have the added bonus of not having to pull yourself together, put your coat on and leave. Highly recommend.
