Set up your professional profile to showcase your skills, grow your brand and connect directly with clients, through Fresha. Learn how to create, personalize, and manage your profile.
What are professional profiles?
Professional profiles on Fresha allow you to showcase your work and connect with clients directly through your individual profile. Whether you're a hairstylist, beauty therapist, or fitness coach, you can highlight your skills and services to stand out in the marketplace.
Your profile includes key details like your services and the location of the workspace you are a part of. While every professional on Fresha has a profile, it’s only visible to clients if you choose to share the link - giving you complete control over who can view it.
You are able to customize your personal details. Along with these, your profile will also display:
- Reviews:
All reviews from workspaces you’ve worked, where you provided the service, will appear on your profile. Your overall rating is visible to clients who follow you, even if you change locations. - Location:
Your work locations will be displayed based on the workspace you're currently linked to and the locations where you're assigned to provide services. - Services:
Your services are automatically pulled from your current work location. If you're not actively working, the services section won't display. - Portfolio:
You can upload photo to your portfolio allowing you to showcase your work to clients who view your profile. This means you can create a gallery of your work which will remain on your profile even if you change workspaces or locations.
Setting up your profile
Every Fresha professional, including workspace owners and team members, has a separate profile. While clients can view and book the services you offer through a workspace, only you can update, edit, and share your profile.
To set up your professional profile:
- Click on your Profile icon and select Profile.
- Select Edit on your profile card.
- Update your Personal details:
- Profile photo:
Select the pencil icon to upload or update your professional photo. If you haven’t set a personal photo, we’ll use the photo from your team member profile, but you can always upload an photo that best represents you. - Display name:
Enter your name as you want it to be displayed on your profile. This will not affect your legal name or the name attached to your team member profile. - Headline:
Add a headline that best describes your job title or a quick description of anything you specialize in. - About you:
Add a short description about you, sharing your passions and highlighting your qualifications.
- Profile photo:
- From the profile menu select Spoken languages. By default, your profile will show the language your account was set up in.
- Click Add and choose any additional languages that you speak. To remove languages select the trash icon.
- From the profile menu select Interests.
- Select up to 10 things that best reflect your interests. These give clients a quick insight into your personality helping them connect with you.
- From the profile menu select Social links and add links to your Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. You can also add links to your Linkedin, Pinterest, Snapchat, X (Twitter) and Youtube by selecting Add.
- Click Save.
- On your portfolio card select Set up now and click Continue.
- Next, choose how to upload your portfolio images:
1. Upload images of your work manually:
Select Continue and click Upload images. Choose the files you want to add to your portfolio. 2. Connect your Instagram feed:
To display your latest work from Instagram directly on your profile, select Continue then Connect. Log in to display your latest work directly on your profile. - Click Done to finalize your setup
To connect your Instagram profile to Fresha, it must be a Business or Creator account. If its not already, Instagram will guide you through the steps to convert it.'

Sharing your profile
Clients can book directly with you using the booking buttons on your profile. They'll be able to book services at any location listed in your workspace. For this, you’ll need to generate a link that can be shared directly with clients or on your social channels.
To share your professional profile:
- Click on your Profile icon and select Profile.
- Select the Share icon above your profile and choose to share via a link, Email, Facebook, X (Twitter) or WhatsApp.
FAQs
If your location is not showing on your professional profile, check that you are assigned to services and scheduled shifts at the relevant location within the workspace. If you do not have permission to edit these, reach out to the workspace owner.
Bookings made through your shared professional profile link will not incur a Marketplace New Client fee unless the client initially discovered your business through Fresha’s marketplace. Find more information on how our Marketplace new client fee works here.
Yes, your profile is private by default and can only be viewed if you share the link. It’s not indexed by search engines, so your profile remains hidden unless you choose to promote it. This gives you the flexibility to manage your professional presence.
