Learn how to set up a personal wallet on your account to receive payments and transfer funds directly to your bank account.

How your personal wallet works
Your personal wallet links your Fresha personal account to your bank account, allowing you to send and receive money. You can receive payments from your employer and transfer those funds to your bank account at any time.
You'll need to complete the verification process with the following:
Personal details and proof of ID
You must provide proof of identity and banking. All details must match the name on your bank account.
Accepted ID:
- Valid passport
- Valid driver’s license, front and back
- Valid ID card, front and back
ID requirements:
- Shows your full name, date of birth, and address
- All four edges are visible
- Clear, in focus, with no glare or obstructions
Bank details and proof of banking
Link your bank account and upload proof for verification.
Accepted documents:
- Full bank statement
- Letter from your bank
- Voided check issued by your bank
Bank document requirements:
- Shows the account holder’s full name
- Dated within the last six months
- Displays the bank logo and full account number
- Clear and legible
Mobile app screenshots and bank card pictures are not accepted as proof of banking.
Add your bank details
Once you have gathered your proof of ID and banking documents, you can proceed to add your bank details.
- From the toolbar in the top right of your screen, click on your profile icon and select Wallet.

- Under Account balance, click Set up now to set up your wallet.

- Enter your Fresha account password to proceed to the next step.
- Next, select your account type:
- Individual: select if you are an individual and have a personal account.
- Sole trader: select if you are self-employed or freelancer and have a business bank account.
- Company: select if you are a company representative and have a business bank account.
- Next, click on the Start button next to Personal details to proceed with your verification.

- Add your personal contact details, they must match the information on a proof of identity document. Click on the Continue button in the top right of your screen to proceed.

- Enter your residential address, by searching for the address in the search bar and selecting the address from the dropdown menu. Click on the Continue button in the top right of your screen to proceed.

- Next, verify your account by providing identification for security purposes. Select one of the following accepted forms of ID:
- Passport
- Drivers licence
- Identity card

- Review the guidelines before clicking on the Continue button in the top right of your screen to proceed.
- Click on Choose a file to upload an image of your identification.

- Click on the Continue button in the top right of your screen to proceed.
- Next, click on Start next to Bank account to verify your bank details.

- Select Connect to your bank for instant bank verification using a QR code.

- Next, click Accept to allow Fresha to verify your bank details.
- Select your bank account type, if not displayed in the options, use the search bar to enter your bank.

1. If your bank is not listed among the available options, you can choose to enter your bank details manually. - Use your phone camera to scan the QR code provided. You'll be redirected to your bank where you can verify your information

- Once verified, click on the Continue button in the top right of your screen to proceed.

- Review your details and click on the Confirm button in the top right of your screen, to submit your details.

Once you submit your details, your information will be verified. We'll send you a confirmation email, letting you know when you can start sending and receiving funds.

Verifying your identity and bank account information can take up to two business days.
In case of a legal name change (marriage, divorce or other reasons), reach out to us, and provide us with official documents to support your name change.
