Apply deals at checkout
Ensure your clients receive the best discounts by applying promotions and flash sales directly at checkout. Learn how to apply and manage deals when checking out.
Getting started
Before you can apply deals at checkout, make sure you’ve:
- Created your promotions and flash sales that can be added in-store.
- If you’re a team member, request permission from the account owner for 'Can check out sales’ and ‘Can edit prices at checkout.’
- To offer clients a range of payment options, consider setting up Fresha payments.
Applying deals at checkout

To apply a deal at checkout:
- Open the Calendar.
- Select an appointment and click Checkout or create a new sale.
- In the cart, select the item/service you want to discount. Only one pre-set discount can be applied per item.
- Under Discount, select a pre-set promotion or flash sale and click Apply.
- Select Checkout and follow the steps to complete the appointment.
The item cost and cart total will reflect the applied discount.
To apply a deal at checkout:
- Open the Calendar.
- Select an appointment and tap Checkout or create a new sale.
- In the cart, select the item/service you want to discount. Only one pre-set discount can be added to the item.
- Under Discount select a pre-set promotion or flash sale and tap Apply.
- Select Checkout and follow the steps to complete the appointment.
The item cost and cart total will reflect the applied discount.
To edit or remove a pre-set item discount, click on the discounted item within the cart, adjust the Price and Discount as needed, and save your changes.
Managing deals at checkout
Update cart discount

To update cart discount:
- Open the Calendar.
- Select an appointment and click Checkout or create a new sale.
- In the cart, select the item you want to update.
- Under Discount, choose another pre-set discount and click Apply.
- Select Checkout and follow the steps to complete the appointment.
To update cart discount:
- Open the Calendar.
- Select an existing appointment and tap Checkout, or tap the plus button (+) in the bottom centre to create a new appointment.
- At the checkout stage, tap on the item/service you want to apply the deal to.
- Tap the discount section and select a pre-set discount from the dropdown.
- Tap Apply.
- Select Checkout and follow the steps to complete the appointment.
Remove a discount

To remove a discount at checkout:
- Open the Calendar.
- Select an appointment and click Checkout or create a new sale.
- In the cart, select the item you want to update.
- Under Discount, select No Discount and click Apply.
- Select Checkout and follow the steps to complete the appointment.
To remove a discount at checkout:
- Open the Calendar.
- Select an existing appointment, and tap Checkout or tap the plus button (+) in the bottom centre to create a new appointment.
- At the checkout stage, tap on the item/service where the deal was applied.
- Under the discount section, select No discount from the dropdown.
- Tap Apply.
- Select Checkout and follow the steps to complete the appointment.
