Importing an existing product list
Importing an existing product list
Save time and streamline your product sales process by quickly adding your products. Learn how to import an existing product list to efficiently manage your inventory and stock levels.
Getting started
You can add multiple products at once by either downloading and filling in the template or uploading your own CSV file with product data. Before you start:
- Have all of your product details to hand.
- Make sure you have the required permissions to import products. If you’re a team member, request permission from the workspace owner for Products and Import products in bulk.
Importing using a template
To import your products using the template:
- Open Catalog and select Products.
- Select Options, then choose Import products.
- Click Download template.
- Input your product data into the template.
- Save the completed template as a CSV file.
- Click inside the box labeled Upload CSV file, select your filled-in template, and upload it.
- Preview your product list.
- Click Start import.
When adding product data, fields like Product Name, Brand, Category, and Retail_Price (if Retail_Sales is set to True) are mandatory. The rest can be left blank.
You can close the screen while your products are uploading. The products will appear in your list once the import is complete.
