Have you seen us? Fresha’s OOH campaign takes over London, again!

As London shifts its decor to celebrate the festive season and arguably the busiest time of the year, Fresha has launched one of its biggest out-of-home campaigns to date. This full London bus takeover is designed to put selfcare back on the radar for those on their feet all day, doing their last-minute Christmas dash, or commuting home from work. For beauty and wellness businesses on the Fresha marketplace, this campaign is a statement to empower, to amplify the festive season and to jump on the opportunity to increase visibility and thus, encourage an influx of bookings for the Christmas season.

Over the next two weeks, 300+ iconic London Routemaster buses will travel through some of London’s busiest lines, including Soho, Camden, Angel, Hackney, and Dalston. The creative, stamped with the line Selfcare just got Fresha, is there to inspire commuters, partygoers, Christmas shoppers and tourists on their feet and most likely in need of a salon or spa fix.

Purposefully timed to go live during the Christmas season, Fresha is meeting the major spike in demand for beauty and wellness appointments at this specific time of the year. Seasonal data shows:

  • Central London weekend footfall rises by 35% as festive events draw people into the city.
  • Bus and Tube usage climbs sharply, driven by Christmas shoppers and office partygoers.
  • Searches for “same-day beauty appointment” and “last-minute hair appointments” peak annually from late November onward.
  • Interest in “self care” recently hit 1.5 million monthly searches, up 13% year-on-year — a clear signal that people are prioritising wellbeing even amid the festive rush.
