It was my first visit and it was lovely. I love my hair, I love the staff, I love my stylist (Lauren), I love the way the products smell, I love the way everything looks inside, I love their organization and the way they handle business. If I wasn't moving next month, this would be my permanent salon, but unfortunately I'm leaving New York. :(

Melissa is absolutely amazing!!!! I removed my braids after only having them in for a month- between the braids and having gone without a trim for an extended amount, my hair was in horrible shape. Melissa could have chosen to simply rake through my hair, instead she was gentle and thorough and truly took her time. I learned so much about my hair during my first visit with her. I’ll definitely be back three months from now for my trim. I highly recommend Melissa and have nothing but great things to say about my first visit to the salon.

Ruben is the man! I hadn’t gotten a haircut in over two years, so I was a little nervous about making a big change. He took the time to look through my reference photos, asked the right questions, and made sure he understood exactly what I was going for. He absolutely nailed it. He’s great with curly textured hair and beards, and you can tell he really pays attention to the details. I walked out feeling fresh, confident, and honestly better than I expected. I had such a great experience with Jahlena! My haircut came out excellent, and she really took the time to explain what I need to do to get my hair back healthy and strong again. She educated me on how often I should come in for trims and gave honest, helpful advice about maintaining my hair properly. Her vibe was so friendly, welcoming, and professional, and she made me feel completely comfortable throughout the appointment. I truly appreciated how knowledgeable and caring she was. I’ll definitely be taking her advice and giving braids a break for a while so my hair can regain its strength.

I had a wonderful experience at H2. Similar to other natural hair salons I’ve been to, but the vibe was a little more open and friendly. My natural hairstylist was amazing. She gave me great recommendations on products to use and how often I should be getting my ends trimmed. The whole process was straightforward from booking in to get in there to get my hair done. Everything was effortless and straightforward. I look forward to my follow-up in January.

Loved my time with Liv! I had just taken out my braids and needed a good deep conditioner, silk press, and trim. She took great care with my hair. The silk press came out perfectly straight and smooth, and she was friendly and professional throughout the entire appointment. She even gave me tips for maintaining the style. I saw Jahlena for the first time for a trim. I really love the cut she gave me and I felt so pretty when I took my flat twist out the following morning. I’ve always embraced my 4C hair but the trim and flat twist set had me feeling so pretty even with the shrinkage.

I was graciously greeted and seated for service. Offered a robe and drink. Although my stylist, Dailey was managing another client she kept us serviced and checked in on me often. She askes about at home hair management, and offers practical solutions or products. I was happy with my trim and already see length and the healthy hair I was looking for. I scheduled my next 2 future services and cant wait to come back. Everyone is is so professional and funny and seem happy doing what they love. H2 is amazing!

I was able to make an appointment within 24 hours, the balyage process flew by, everyone was very accommodating & it's a very relaxed/chill atmosphere. This is my 3rd time coming here & I'm always really pleased with the results. He never cuts my hair shorter than necessary for a trim & the color came out beautifully. If you're looking for a salon to go & chat for hours this may not be the place for you. If you want to get in & have someone focus and do an outstanding job, see David.

I got root coverage, highlights, a haircut & blowout with Inesa and I love it! I very rarely leave the salon so happy with my hair, but Inesa is so talented and did such a beautiful job! I wanted to lighten it up and do very little trim, and she did EXACTLY what I asked. Very pleased and will be going back!
