What a treat it is to come get my haircut and spend time with the lovely ladies at Crissel New York! Crissel is not only a phenomenal hairdresser but also kind, thoughtful, and funny. I always have such a great time chatting with her and her awesome crew (namely Rosie and Susie). Crissel always makes me look and feel fabulous... and at a great price. Even after moving away from the neighborhood, I still maker the trek back because I know I can rely on Crissel to make me look my best (and give me a few good laughs). It was my first visit and it was lovely. I love my hair, I love the staff, I love my stylist (Lauren), I love the way the products smell, I love the way everything looks inside, I love their organization and the way they handle business. If I wasn't moving next month, this would be my permanent salon, but unfortunately I'm leaving New York. :(

Flew from Dallas to get the amazing services at Sew Brooklyn by Janice. Janice was so nice and professional. I loved my versatile sew-in. I haven’t had results like this in years. The shop is also beautiful, clean and offer drinks upon arrival by their great staff. Stellar shop!

As you walk in the door of Sew Brooklyn you are in for a treat! Well, at least thats what it was like for me. I had read the reviews and did my research for top Hair Salons for black hair in Brooklyn. It was all positive feedback for Sew Brooklyn. Today I am adding mine! This Hair salon is the best by far! Loved the cleanliness, the ornate and luxurious, setting; even my black and white poco-dot apron! I am a regular! From this moment on. Oh, yes, loved my hair! Shampoo, Conditioner, a Rinse to cover my gray, a short, slick, Bob Cut all for a reasonable price! Treat yourselves ladies!

From the moment I arrived Jahlena was extremely welcoming. She did an in depth consultation with me about what I wanted and what my expectations should be. Shalayna is amazing! I went to her for the first time a little over four months ago because I wanted a silk press. I went in for my first curly cut in 5 years and saw Dailey. My experience was 1,000,000/10. I walked in and was immediately met with a warm greeting by the receptionist who took my jacket upon check in. My appointment started on time. I was offered a beverage and walked to Dailey’s station. The appointment started with consultation since I was a new client. Dailey listened to what I wanted and my concerns, then talked me through her assessment of my hair.
