Jill is a magician!! The New York winter and water had killed my curls, but Jill brought them back to life. So very professional and taught me about my hair and styling, while also keeping my preferences top of mind. The space is clean and modern, and the Self team were so wonderful.

I got my eyelashes done for the first time today by Katie. Before my appointment she texted me directions and pictures of the building. I explained to her what look I was going for and she did an amazing job! She was so nice and gave me a little care package at the end of my appointment. If you are in the New York/ Long Island City area I definitely recommend her!

Gina was so amazing! My hair was dead and flat when I came in. She listened to what I wanted out of the haircut and recommended some solutions and did such an amazing job. I can’t recommend her and this salon enough after encountering so many bad salons in Brooklyn. So happy to have FINALLY found a salon I plan on coming back to for future haircuts.

Emily is AMAZING. delicate hands, very intentional and kind. the space is always so clean and peaceful and i always end up falling asleep during my lash lifts. whenever i get them done they last for OVER 3 months, its magic. adore coming here and would not go anywhere else!!! thank you Emily you’re the best!

Dorela did an absolutely amazing job with my hair! I have very thick & wavy hair, so I was a little nervous at first, but Dorela was fantastic! I did the keratin treatment and got a haircut, and she was very precise and took her time with every step. Dorela also keeps her salon super clean. Amazing experience with Lazaer hair removal and permanent makeup and couple body massage. The Is clean and very elegant all the staff members are amazing each one of them has their own touch and what they are specializing in. I've gotten my eyelashes tinted and done twice by Katie and have been obsessed. As someone who works in editorial and attends numerous NYFW shows and fashion events, my makeup routine is significantly shorter, and I can't stop marveling at them throughout the day. I have short, straight Asian eyelashes, and Katie perfectly elongates my lashes within 45 minutes to an hour — it's like magic. I can guarantee you'll fall asleep every time with how gently and efficiently she does the procedure. She's quick to answer any questions or concerns I might have and I know I'll be a regular here!

I’ve been seeing Samantha for lymphatic drainage massages for the past three weeks, and I’ve had a wonderful experience. She is incredibly kind, gentle, and highly skilled at what she does. Every session leaves me feeling relaxed, and I’ve already started noticing positive changes. Although Samantha doesn’t speak English, communication has been seamless because both her husband, who works at the front desk, and her assistant speak English. They’re always welcoming, friendly, and happy to answer any questions, making every visit easy and comfortable. The entire team is amazing!

Last minute before a trip, I realized how bad of a hair color touchup I was in need of and my usual place was unavailable, so I decided to swing by the studio to see if there was any chance there for highlights. Dori was super nice and was willing to accommodate me last minute, even staying late since that was the only time I was available too, and she did an absolutely fantastic job! I was very impressed and even my family immediately commented on how beautiful my hair came out. Definitely recommend Dori for your hair needs!
