This is probably one of the best salons out there. It’s a hidden gem I discovered. Micheal is great stylist and barber. He is friendly, takes his time and gives advice. I highly recommend Poiz Beauty Salon.

Always my favorite place to visit! Giulia Love Salon consistently transforms me into my best self with the care, attention, and love they provide. This is probably my 10th visit, and every time I experience the same joyous journey of letting my inner beauty shine on the outside. I had a fantastic styling done by Ali (truly incredible), but he made comments that my hair didn’t need to be straightened and tried to persuade me to go against what I consider, as an African American in a hair salon, to be a finished look following a blow out. Again, he did an absolutely beautiful job, but the repeat comments (both during this appointment and my last appointment with him) made me feel like I wasn’t a valued customer and felt like he did not want to do my hair. Still very happy and very grateful, but that didn’t feel great.

Had an amazing experience with Ebony. She welcomed me at the entrance. We had little banter then she allows me to use the bathroom. When I came back to the room, the wax bed was prepared. She gave me clear instructions then began her magic. She’s thoughtful, non-judgmental, professional, and down-to-earth. Her skill set is exceptional. If you choose Ebony Star Stylez Beauty & Skincare for waxing services you will be well pleased and leave feeling like it was not a big deal - she makes the experience that comfortable and bearable.

I had an amazing experience here! I am a guy with curly hair, between an 2 and 3A, so I’ve had A LOT of bad haircuts. This is the best cut I’ve had in YEARS! Even when I ask for a diva cut, stylists always give me a generic men’s cut when I go short, so I never do. NOT Sandra! Even though I went with a shorter length (and had worn a hat all day), she took her time to cut my curls individually and made sure they all came through. I almost always walk out of the salon disappointed and put off getting a trim for as long as possible but today I am already looking forward to seeing her again!

What a wonderful first time experience at Poiz Beauty Salon! My stylist Ainur was so welcoming and gave me exactly what I asked for. I just showed her a picture and she worked her magic ✨. I cannot say enough amazing things about this salon!! From the second you walk in you’re treated like family and made to feel so comfortable. I got my hair cut and colored by Ena and she was AMAZING!! She was so kind and thoughtful when doing my hair checking in with me along the way making sure I was good! I wasn’t totally sure the color I wanted and Ena worked with me to find the PERFECT natural look while still making sure It was noticeable! Silvana also helped with coloring and washing my hair, she was so kind and comforting along the way! Amazing experience I can’t wait to go back!

I love visiting the salon of Topnotchbeautyintox. Despite it being freezing cold, it is very welcoming. i am always greeted with a smile and small gifts around the holidays. the salon is ALWAYS clean. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing waxing services, braiding, or other protective styles.

The last salon I went to was careless w/ my natural eyelashes & I knew I needed a change. Erica (lash tech) removed the old lashes gently & applied a new set (premium diamond set) that are so comfortable on my eyes & expertly applied. She was very meticulous and ensured none of my lashes were stuck together all the while creating perfect symmetry. She created a beautiful shape for me that fits my face nicely.
