I was a guy who’d had long hair for over a decade, sometimes past my shoulders - however my experience with Jillian in finding my “grown man” cut was nothing short of phenomenal and she’s since become my regular barber. She made the traditionally scary act of chopping all your angsty hair off much less so, was incredibly attentive to my needs and style goals, was laser-focused on both my hair and beard while being awesome to talk to AND making expert suggestions all at once. Sang is an excellent barber and has taken great care of me every time I get my haircut. He makes me feel welcome and is very skilled at the art of taming my mane. He keeps a good crew on board at his 3 locations as evidenced by the fact that they’re always busy and everyone getting their haircut looks happy and has a great looking “do” when they’re leaving. I highly recommend the skilled barbers at Thrine. They’ll treat you like a king!

Jillian was my barber and it was a great experience! I came in with some pretty long hair and she got me cleaned up and looking proper. She was very easy to talk, professional, and made sure that we were both on the same page before beginning the cut. Her attention to detail is second to none and she created a pleasant experience and space for a haircut. Will be going back!

Jillian was the literal BEST. I've always said to my barber (whomever that might be) "you're the expert, can I hear what you think/recommend?" and for the first time in my adult life, she did!!! Not only was she incredibly helpful, but she also gave me what I consider the best cut I've ever had in almost 9 years living in Portland. 11 out of 10! Highly recommend!

Alex is the best Barber I have ever had, he listens, suggests ideas, and even offers to have me come back, if anything isn't working out well (I have never had to take him up on this offer) The rest of the staff, from what I have seen, does fantastic work as well. All the staff are friendly, genuine, and make it a great space to be in. Keep up the excellent work!

Mr. Lane is quite possibly the best barber and barber teacher in all of Portland, perhaps all Oregon.
