This is my husband's first haircut at the salon, and it was a success thanks to Bobby. He was really nice. He welcomed us with a big smile. He listened to my needs and kept checking on me to see how I like my husband's hair to look like. Highly recommend Bobby

Throne has consistently been an excellent place to get my haircut for years now. Never a bad experience. They offer top notch hair care in a relaxing and welcoming environment. I particularly want to give Sang a shout out, he is a pro-barber-stylist-ninja! His shears have kept me looking sharp for years.

My barber was awesome! (David or Daniel my memory is failing me) but he was so attentive really focusing on detail and making sure I was happy with it all along the way. Definitely very skilled. And friendly above all. Excellent experience.

I’m an educator for Aveda The North America team. I moved to Portland 2 years ago and haven’t found a good barber here. David cuts my hair and he understood what I was looking for. He is an amazing barber with so much talent. I strongly recommend him!

Fay is the best barber I've ever had. No matter what I ask for, they always cut my hair exactly how I want. Me and my wife have been getting our hair cut by Fay for about 2 years now and they make us feel so welcome and respected. We love Take Pride and all the amazing staff there! The shop is awesome, atmosphere is welcoming, and snacks are great. Thank you so much for the all around good vibes with each visit. Keep rocking it!

I’ve been a regular with Take Pride Barbershop for a couple years now and there’s a reason for that. The atmosphere is great, the barbers are friendly, and the service and their skills really show! Hard working group of barbers that are friendly, professional, and amazing at their craft. Best barbershop in Portland. Period!

Kreg was great, really helped me recover from a bad attempt at self-cutting. Greeted me nicely when I walked in which I like since I get nervous going to someone new for the first time, he's a chill host in talking or not talking, and competitive price too. Highly recommend booking with him if you need a go-to barber!

Day was amazing! I’ve never felt more comfortable and trusting of a stylist than I did with them! I came out of Take Pride with a bada$$ haircut and confidence out the wazoo. I highly suggest this shop if you’re looking to get what I like to call a “soul” cut, cause it’ll definitely represent who you are on the inside, just as much as on the outside!
