I had an absolutely lovely session with Jerry! I was definitely a challenge for him coming in with 15 years of untrimmed hair length and 12 years of unkempt beard, but he worked some sort of miracle and had me leaving with a beard and hair looking bigger and fuller after the trim and clean up. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Portland!

Came in late at 7pm. I know everyone’s tired cause they’ve probably been cutting hair all day. But I was blown away at the care and detail I got. Carelli cut my hair and gave me a beard trim. It was soo good, everything from the fade, to the blend, to the trim of the top, then the beard line up. It was all carefully done to the detail. Everyone wants to be off work but she more worried about making sure my hair and beard was cut to perfection, I could tell and I really appreciated that. I never write reviews but I feel fresh af and that’s what matters when leaving the shop. Thank you!

I’m recently divorced and have been depressed for a while. I also stopped caring about my looks and grew my beard and hair out. But I wanted a change and to feel more confident in my body. Binh took a moment to get to know me and understand what I’m looking for. He suggested a style that would look good on my body type. He cut off a lot of my hair and it looks so great! I haven’t looked this good in a decade! I’m so happy with it!

David was dope and hella listened to what I wanted; very articulate. I was scared because this was my first time booking with him but needed a cut bad since I was in a pinch. I took a chance on him without knowing his portfolio, having references, or knowing his style. I told him I wanted a taper on the sides, keeping the top part of it bulky so my head shape is squared, and take only a bit off the top of my hair if he saw fit. Safe to say he killed it with my cut.

I was a guy who’d had long hair for over a decade, sometimes past my shoulders - however my experience with Jillian in finding my “grown man” cut was nothing short of phenomenal and she’s since become my regular barber. She made the traditionally scary act of chopping all your angsty hair off much less so, was incredibly attentive to my needs and style goals, was laser-focused on both my hair and beard while being awesome to talk to AND making expert suggestions all at once. I've been looking for a place to get a trim get things started cleaned up a little bit last experience I had was in the cathedral St John's area walked out with $50 bill and want to be drinking my hand along with that the dollars out the door this place charges you $15 that leaves you plenty room for a tip the instructors are great your friendly polite and respectful the students are just amazing they pay attention to what they doing the communication as well I recommend this place to anybody enjoy your moments blessings and respect

Mr. Lane is quite possibly the best barber and barber teacher in all of Portland, perhaps all Oregon. I came in with a need for a very tricky haircut that he knew very well and was able to teach his student with thoroughness and depth. I hope I can make Mr. Lane's my go-to for all foreseeable future.
