Hoe kan ik mijn acrylnagels verwijderen?

We raden altijd aan een professionele nageltechnicus te vragen om je acrylnagels te verwijderen, maar als je van plan bent ze zelf te verwijderen, volg dan deze stappen om schade aan je natuurlijke nagels te minimaliseren:

Vijl zoveel mogelijk van de acrylnagel af met een grove 100-korrel nagelfile. Zorg er echter voor dat je niet tot je natuurlijke nagel gaat.
Week 10 wattenbolletjes in 100% aceton, breng vervolgens 5 ervan op je nagels aan en zet ze vast door een strookje folie om elke vingertop te wikkelen. Laat ze 20 minuten zitten, verwijder ze dan en herhaal op je andere hand.

TIP: Vermijd het weken van je vingertoppen in een kom met aceton - het is een sterk chemisch middel dat je huid uitdroogt.

Gebruik een houten nagelriemstokje en duw voorzichtig het acryl en de lijm van je nagel af. Vijl eventuele resten weg met een zachte schuim nagelpolijster en breng een natuurlijke olie aan, zoals jojoba.

Acrylnagels gaan doorgaans 2–3 weken mee voordat een bijvulling nodig is, en de volledige set gaat gewoonlijk 6–8 weken mee voordat een volledige vervanging wordt aanbevolen. Regelmatige onderhoudsbijvullingen helpen ze er fris uit te zien en voorkomen loslating.
