It was my first visit and it was lovely. I love my hair, I love the staff, I love my stylist (Lauren), I love the way the products smell, I love the way everything looks inside, I love their organization and the way they handle business. If I wasn't moving next month, this would be my permanent salon, but unfortunately I'm leaving New York. :(

Another great visit!! My daughter absolutely loves her curly hair short and Crissel delivers each and every time making my daughter extremely happy. As long as we live in New York and Crissel is in business we will always book with her.

My experience with Kat is excellent as always. Kat is personable and always professional. She is passionate about what she does and genuinely cares about her clients' needs. This is her vocation. I live in the Bronx and travel to Brooklyn just for Kat to take care of my tresses. Enough said!

Shalayna is amazing! I went to her for the first time a little over four months ago because I wanted a silk press. Instead of just doing the service, she was honest and told me my hair wasn’t in the right condition for it at that time. That immediately impressed me because I want a stylist who genuinely cares about the health of my hair and will recommend what’s best, rather than simply doing what I ask to make a sale. She took the time to fully explain what my hair needed and put me on a personalized care plan. Now, four months later, the difference in my hair is incredible. It’s healthier,

What a treat it is to come get my haircut and spend time with the lovely ladies at Crissel New York! Crissel is not only a phenomenal hairdresser but also kind, thoughtful, and funny. I always have such a great time chatting with her and her awesome crew (namely Rosie and Susie). Crissel always makes me look and feel fabulous... and at a great price. Even after moving away from the neighborhood, I still maker the trek back because I know I can rely on Crissel to make me look my best (and give me a few good laughs). Highly recommend this wonderful salon!

The salon was comfortable and they offered me a beverage, so I drank mint tea while deep conditioning. My stylist Patrice was gentle when detangling and kept me informed on what she was doing throughout the process, including tips for the takedown of my style. Overall, this was a 10/10 salon experience.

Liyah was great. I came in because I thought my hair was in really bad condition. She assured me it was not and then provided me with more than few tips to get my hair back on track. This was my first visit to the salon and I appreciate the professionalism of the staff and general ambience. One thing to note however is that I was initially booked with another stylist and was switched to Liyah without being notified. I am assuming it was because I was a new client but a courtesy text or call would have been appreciated. Nonetheless not a major complaint, Liyah was amazing!

The best salon experience ever. From walk in to walk out, everyone was professional, courteous, and very fun to be around. The shampoo was great, the deep conditioning and hair cut by Marq was phenomenal. I left feeling like a new person. Thank you H2 Salon.!

I’ve been seeing Crissel for my relaxer for nearly 2 years. It’s so hard to find a stylist that does perms/relaxers anymore as it’s being replaced with Keratin/Brazilian straightening which is outrageously expensive and doesn’t straighten at all unless your hair is very thin/fine and not as curly, or Japanese straightening which is a little stronger but still not enough. She’s great and is always open to suggestions for what you know works for your hair, and I’m glad I found her. I hope you do relaxers forever!

I had an excellent experience, especially for my first time at a salon and my first time putting heat on my hair in years. I was warmly welcomed immediately. Cathy did a lovely job shampooing/conditioning, constantly checking to make sure I was comfortable. She informed me of every step of the process, making sure I knew exactly what products she was using. Cathy did most of my blow drying and then my stylist JahLena took over to complete it. I got a trim and a silk press. She took progress photos for me and gave me tips on how to maintain my style. Very professional! I’ll def be back soon.
