Thanks to Miss Shakorie, I’m going to be all spruced up for some weekend functions that I must attend. She was super nice, took great care of my hair and was even flexible enough to squeeze me in for an emergency appointment. The vibe of the salon was very welcoming and relaxed. I enjoyed talking to her and Miss Tara. We laughed a lot, shared some stories and they made me feel extremely comfortable on my first visit. I love my braids and I pray blessings over their business in the future!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful these ladies are. I want to gate keep and not tell other people but honestly, they would still figure out how to get more people done. I get the works when I come here from detoxification/treatments/twists/braids I’ve done it all and both of my daughters. My daughter has locs. I have natural hair my other daughter has natural. I typically like to get twist, or extensions. We’ve gotten cornrows. these ladies are masterful responsive, and better than other salons. I have tried here on two different continents .

I am so happy with the results of my hair at DSN! I got small box braids, and Sephora did an absolutely amazing job. She was professional, talented, and paid great attention to detail. The salon is beautiful, and it’s filled with so many skilled and professional braiders who make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Always a great experience when Suze braids my hair! We finally found cowrie shells and fulfilled one of our braiding goals with this new style! I am looking forward to continuing this braiding adventure with Suzette as we play with my hairstyles, colors, and accessories!

A lovely experience with Marie today at Kulture Kurls, I was made to feel at ease and well looked after for my entire appointment. What stood out about her braiding technique is the care for my hair and roots, she wasn't too rough and didn't braid too tightly. She took her time to recreate the style exactly as I'd requested and it looks great! I'm super happy with it.

Khadija has been doing my hair roughly 5 years now and my experience has always been amazing from start to finish. Once she learns your hair, the braiding is completed quickly, yet the quality never slip Very professional, and so welcoming every single time. The space is always incredibly clean, which makes the whole experience even more relaxing. On top of that, the aroma of the new salon is so comfortable and pleasant — it truly adds to the peaceful atmosphere. Had medium knotless braids done & it was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had. We started on time, the space was easy to find, and I felt safe, seen, and completely at ease. She listened, made me laugh, explained everything, and offered breaks throughout. I left feeling human again—like I deserved the care I received. My siblings in the States raved about my hair. Price was more than fair. I’ll definitely be back. 💛

I had a great experience. I had made an appointment to get passion twists but ended up getting small box braids, instead, with a pretty shade of silvery salt and pepper. Braids were beautiful done by a team of braiders led by Rita. It took less than 3 hours.:)

Selena is AMAZING!! Selena is not just for the kids, although she is fantastic with them and my granddaughter is obsessed with her. Selens’s ability to colour match the extensions against your own hair colour is phenomenal and the quality of her work is just next level. I get compliments everywhere I go every time she does my hair. My braids (depending on design) last anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks. I have been to Selena many times and already have her booked for January ( full head box braids) so I don’t have to worry about my hair for my entire next overseas trip.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first appointment at Peckham’s Best. Monica is exceptionally professional, pleasant and kind. Despite my tardy arrival at the salon, she welcomed me warmly and started work on my hair, swiftly and skilfully taking down my braids. She detangled my natural hair so thoroughly and gently, gave me a fantastic scalp massage at the shampoo bowl as well as a great conditioning treatment that left my hair feeling soft and nourished. She then gave me the perfect cornrows before Eni installed and styled my wig absolutely beautifully. Thank you so much Peckham’s Best! I’ll be back!

I had a great experience! She was very gentle while braiding my hair, and the parts were neat and clean. The braids weren’t tight at all, which made it really comfortable. You can tell she pays attention to detail and cares about her clients. I’d definitely recommend her!

Ainur is incredibly talented and pays amazing attention to detail with every braid she creates. I’ve gone to her multiple times for special events like HYROX competitions and the Pride Parade, where I wanted colorful extensions braided into my natural hair.
