I’ve been going to Jeoin since I moved to Singapore in 2023. I have very curly hair, and despite the fact that hers is naturally straight, she always cuts it like she’s a naturally curly-haired person. She listens to my wants, provides me her guidance and opinions, and then cuts away. I’ve always walked away a satisfied customer loving my new look. The salon is great and very centrally located in the Tanglin area. They offer scalp and shoulder massages and beverages, as part of their service. I would highly recommend Trimmings and Jeoin if you’re in need of a cut or new stylist.

As always, a flawless experience with Ray. Today was a total remodel, going from very long to jaw length which was executed to perfection. Brilliant. Small, intimate salon with a friendly welcome. I was visiting Singapore and wanted to get a haircut + highlights, Sankakkei is close to Chintown and a very convenient location, most importantly they open early at 8a and had appointments available. Erica was wonderful, super sweet and very professional, gave me solid recommendation for highlight color and was very friendly and easy to work with. I would’ve spend more in the US but gotten half of the service, and I was super happy with my cut and color!!

Roy is always the barber I look for whenever I come in. Every haircut with him is consistently 100% top-notch the attention to detail, precision, and care he puts into his work really shows. He takes the time to understand exactly what I want and somehow manages to exceed expectations every single time. Honestly, I’d say Roy is one of the best barbers in Singapore. I've been to at least 10 different Japanese hair salons in Singapore over the years but I would say only Key's left a superb impression. It isn't luxurious or swanky like many of the Jap salons in SG. It had a very down-to-earth, friendly vibes that made the experience positive from the moment I entered the salon. Best thing was the outstanding job by Chika san. I had a haircut, colour and smoothing treatment. The haircut turned out better than expected. And the hair colour was a pretty but subtle ash brown, which was exactly what i had wanted (but couldn't get at other salons). So happy!

Yasu was warm and friendly throughout. At the start, he took the time to discuss my preferences and choices. Then he carried out his work with great professionalism and elegance. At the end, when I asked if tipping was customary, he kindly explained that it wasn’t part of the local culture. It was my first time visiting Singapore. As a tourist, I found the whole experience delightful, and I would love to return to have my hair done there with him again.

It’s my first visit and I had a wonderful experience. The salon is well located near Chinatown. It is spacious, clean with a minimalist vibe. My hair stylist is Carmen. She’s warm, friendly and super attentive. She gave me great advice about my hair style and shared great tips on hair care. I reckon this is one of the best hair salons I have ever visited in Singapore. The staff has great attention to detail. I am extremely pleased with my haircut, colour and treatment. I felt so light, fresh and glowing. I highly recommend this hair salon and I will definitely come back again ☺️

Clearly , he must be their top student - possessing not just the right technical skills, a good aesthetic sense and a well mannered polite disposition. My mom and I had a spa day here during our Singapore trip, and it was amazing! Zoey was so knowledgeable and attentive, and she tailored our treatments perfectly. My mom got a scalp treatment, and I got a non-bleach color, hydro boost, and cut. We both loved our results!
