I love visiting select. The staff are chilled and friendly. They don't mind who you go with for treatments as long as you're relaxed. They're highly trained & knowledgeable and happy to chat or be quiet if I'm zoned out. The facials and hot oil massages are gorgeous, but don't plan anything afterwards because you'll be so relaxed! They're brow experts. It's not easy finding people you trust who are consistently good. For electrolysis, they're the best in York, I tried 3 other places before finding Joanne. The location is easy to find and has free parking.

Always the best, Kaye listens to what you want and what design, she even shares her ideas to make your nails even more fabulous, Kaye will always make sure you leave with a smile on your face and triple checks you’re happy with the nails (Length,Colour and Design) i 100% recommend visiting Emerald Beauty! She will be your nail tech for life as well as a friend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant service and amazing results! I volunteered as a model for Gemma’s colour training and Georgia’s extension work, and I’m so glad I did! Gemma did a fantastic job with my hair colour — she was thorough, careful, and created exactly the rich, even shade I wanted. I left feeling confident and absolutely love my new look. Highly recommended! 💖

My visits here are always a massive highlight for me. Lisa, Stacey and Alix were so welcoming. Always friendly and caring and creates such a relaxing environment. There is nowhere else in York like it! Alix took such time and care doing my nails and the art I had found. Fantastic job and love my nails. Char is THE best at hair extensions in York by a mile. The blend is outrageous, colour match is spot on, she just knows exactly how to make it look so natural. She’s also the best therapist whilst working! The easiest person to talk to, goes above & beyond to accommodate you with every appointment. Just always a pleasure. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Gemma 5⭐️ as always! My hairdresser has recently moved salons and is using a new colour range, but she absolutely smashed it. My blonde is the perfect shade, beautifully toned, and my hair feels fantastic. So talented, professional, and always listens to exactly what I want. Highly recommend!

Victoria was super friendly and welcoming. As we were in York for my daughters wedding we didn’t know where to get a hair up do and purely went off reviews. Victoria is excellent at up dos and 3 of us were more than happy with the end result. We would all 100% recommend her. You will not be disappointed I promise
