The nail tech did not use a base coat before applying the polish. I tried to ask about the base coat, but we could not communicate well. After the polish was applied she fanned the toes to dry and started to get the cuticle oil. I had to ask her to stop and apply a top coat. I’ve never received a pedicure or manicure with no base or top coat. I’m not sure if she forgot or what. This was just regular polish. I don’t think it will last long without base/top coat. But she did apply the top coat after I asked. Otherwise, she did good job.

Anna did an amazing job with my nails. She is extremely professional and experienced. She made me feel very comfortable since this was my first experience with this type of manicure. Valeria is incredibly talented meticulous, gentle and attentive. She always checks that I’m comfortable and never rushes. I had my nails done by her almost two months ago before traveling to the Philippines, and they grew longer than they have in over 10 years with zero chips! Regina is my chosen nail technician and all I can say is - every time she does an amazing job! I have very problematic and fragile nails ( due to my habit to remove gel by myself) and Regina always fixes them and make them look nice. Also, I have to mention I like her work style. Some techs make nails thick, but not Regina. The nails she does look tiny and natural. Great job, Regina!

I've been getting my nails done at KVADRAT for close to 3 years now & I won't go anywhere else. My nails grow long naturally but I move around fast. Whether I'm cleaning, opening a car door, attempting to open a can, or accidentally bang a finger across my office desk for whatever reason LOL With that being said, I always tend to chip or break a nail. Then I get bummed because I have to cut them down and I love my nails long. So I decided to start getting gel overlay on my nails to protect from breakage and keep my long nails. I'm a loyal customer, you can't go wrong with either nails tech.

There is nothing comparable to Amelina Paraiso salon! The quality of the products, e-files and bits, the technicians work ... top quality! The entire team is strong and always helping each other to grow and improve. My nails always look phenomenal and it is such a pleasure to visit with such lovely women – each and every one of them! I drive all the way from downtown Chicago to Desplaines and it is WORTH the trip! Because of the long trip, I am able to stretch out my visits to five weeks. The manicure + gel overlay + gel color last THAT LONG!

Amalia Paraiso once again, has been accommodating and my nails always look on point. This nail salon is one of the best in the Chicagoland area, and uses high quality materials for their customers. I love that they do the E-file manicure and it’s European vibe and feel because they are the best in the show. Will continue coming here!

Milena is AMAZING. Perfectionist. I’ve never had an e-file manicure and now I’m hooked. It lasts, no chips at week three, can probably go four. Also love the personal attention and relaxing atmosphere of the salon. So glad MBB is in Des Plaines - thank you!

Regina is really nice and professional. The quality of my manicure and pedicure are top notch! I’ve gone to many places to get manicures and pedicures before, and I can tell this place uses great quality products for nails. It is durable and long lasting. Regina also does nail art and they are so accommodating. They are also very reasonably priced and don’t take long! My only regret is not finding them sooner and wishing I could spend more time there.
