Best Hair Salons in Randpark Ridge, Johannesburg

Relocating from Durban, i found it very difficult to find a hair salon that is both reasonable and trustworthy. After my experience at The Backyard Hair Salon, i'm SO HAPPY. Cameron, was friendly and so gentle with my hair. I felt very comfortable at the salon and she was so generous with tips about hair care and products. The furbabies were my favourite part!

Izelle from Kink Hair is a master of her profession. It is extremely rare to find a stylist, like her, who truly understands the science and technicality of hair colour and styling. Izelle worked her absolute magic to correct a really bad highlighting job I got somewhere else, with an end result that left me beaming. From the moment I arrived I felt confident that she knew exactly how to give me the result I really wanted. The experience at her salon is welcoming and professional. I highly recommend her salon.

Lee, as always, is absolutely amazing and thorough. I walked into the salon extremely stressed from work and walked out relieved - it's like she know just how to assist one in unwinding. With regards to my treatment, I walked out a new woman. Post my braid removal my hair was thick and dry, but Lee worked her magic in having my hair smooth and sleek again. She's the go-to!!!!

I would just like to say a big thank you to Jacques and the team at Maomo Hair Salon! The transformation of my hair was incredible. The staff are friendly and professional and they have the skills required to leave you looking fabulous and feeling like a completely new person. This hair salon is elegant and the hairdressers are experts in African natural hair

A beautiful space!!! Lucy was friendly, patient, knowledgeable and gentle with my hair. I can't remember the last time I had a pain-free salon experience. I have found a new home for my hair 😍

No aching scalp. No headache. Gladys was amazing -the parting is top tier, no one has done any form of braids that neat 🔥. Did I mention the hair wash, the scalp massage yoh! My head STILL feels so relaxed a day later. Hair is a super moisturised -love the products (do you guys sell them?). Also really happy that they know about natural hair care!! FINALLY💃🏾! It would have been a 5 but the room temperature was so cold 🥶 😥. I can’t wait until you guys add more hairstyles because I definitely will be coming back!!

What a wonderful experience having my hair done was today. The service was amazing. Lucy and her colleague were so professional. Everything that was done to my hair was explained to me in detail. I love my hairstyle, definitely booking again
