Wow—just wow. Jane’s Thai massage was next level. I’ve had a lot of massages over the years, but this was by far the best. She has such a natural ability to release tension and bring your body into total relaxation. I felt amazing afterwards—calm, loose, and completely recharged. Jane is absolutely incredible at what she does. I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation!

We have been going for weekly massages for about 6 weeks and the experience has been spectacular. The massage therapists are very good and we've tried four different therapists and they're all very good at their craft. I've had a tight shoulder and forearms and the relief has been amazing. We would highly recommend Sanctuary.

Another amazing massage by Por tonight. I don’t even tell her what I want worked on now - she has done her scan in the first five minutes and figured out where needs her attention. Her magic elbows came out again today, as well as her fabulous strong hands. She also has a wonderful reflexology stick, and knows I love having my feet worked on. If you have a busy, stressful job, or life is throwing a curveball or two - make a regular visit to the Sanctuary Birkenhead part of your wellness program. Always love my experience here! They’re so inviting, really good with massage, and invite you with a warm foot soak and yummy ginger tea!

This is my favourite massage place. I love Thai massage for being strong yet gentle. And the care you receive straight away with the lemon and rose foot bath and a cup of tea. I go at least once a month and every time feel so good afterwards. A heartfelt recommendation. Lana

My massage was done by BT, who I had already met at another place and I was so happy to see her again. She knows. her job in and out, will massage away all the knots and aches. I have has a lot of massages done by different masseurs and mostly by Thai personnel, and BT is by far the best. I just hope she stays around for as long as I stay around. I couldn't function without her. I trust and value her as she enables me to go out and be physical and do my job. Love you BT. Thank you and see you again.

Just when I thought a massage couldn’t get any better… Por goes next level! I’ve been a regular at Sanctuary for over a year now; initially monthly, then once a fortnight, and now weekly. I’m going away for work this weekend, so got my massage last night. WOW. A combination of hot stones, elbows, forearms and the reflexology stick had me floating! I don’t tell Por where I think I need work; within five minutes of arriving, she has that sorted and plans her attack. One of the best tools in my well-being toolbox - highly recommend a visit to Sanctuary Birkenhead. Kob kun ka. 🙏

I’ve been to Tranquil Thai Massage many times and always have a wonderful experience. The place is very clean, welcoming, and has a relaxing atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and professional, and Nang in particular gives excellent massages that leave me feeling refreshed and relaxed every time. It’s definitely great value for money, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality massage therapy.

I felt like I was in Thailand doing the massage. Very good environment, Zara was wonderful. Definitely will visit again for another treatment!!

Absolutely Great experience for a first timer. I had a 45 minute hydrating facial plus 45 minute foot reflexology and both were divine experiences. My professional was so just so lovely and welcoming and very thoughtful. The whole experience was a pleasure to enjoy. Definitely booking more of the same but first up is a “couples massage.” ☺️

AMAZING. I am a regular at the Sanctuary, with the traditional Thai massage being a favourite. But no two massages are ever the same… there is no predictability, no boredom. Por quickly assesses what the body needs - today she didn’t even ask me where was sore, but quickly worked it out. Having trained previously as an orthopaedic nurse, I trust her implicitly with a niggly knee injury. Her colleagues are also warm and friendly, and I finish every visit to Sanctuary Birkenhead by floating down the stairs. I am a better person after a massage from Por and her magic hands. Pin is very experienced and gave a great firm massage and foot reflexology. I feel energised!

My partner and I often go to Panwa in Papakura as its closer to where we live but were out these ways so decided to give the new location a go and we were not disappointed!! Lovely space they've created, friendly and inviting staff and the deep tissue massage from Jeffy was heavenly! Really got into my problem areas and I left feeling so refreshed and relaxed!! Would love to be here every week!!

Sia was absolutely amazing I have had a huge couple of weeks and her massage gave me a wonderful sleep. I have not had in months. Her experience shines through pressure with relaxing massage top of my head to the bottom of my toes, highly recommend her to everyone my colleagues at work and friends at the gym, also my neighbours and family. I will be back next few weeks I travel for work. will definitely look forward to her destressing and breathing deeply again instead of shallow breaths as I am usually carrying an injury, she noticed my back needed majority of work and legs did my feet too.x

Oh my goodness how I melted! We booked a couples massage and it was truly amazing! Both of us thoroughly enjoying our massages and the overall experience, from the greeting to the good bye and the delicious ginger tea in between.
