Wonderful experience at my Spa Massage just outside York. Afer much online research, booked Deep Tissue Massage Treatments for Two (sister and self) at Shabby to Chic just outside York centre and were completely satisfied. Both Elise and Sarah were very professional taking pride in their work - both therapists took the time to listen as to which areas to concentrate on and the treatments were tailored accordingly. Wished we lived nearer, as were just in York for a couple of days - would like to go back on a regular basis to pursue a tailored treatment plan - can't speak highly enough!

Pernilla (sorry for the spelling) was incredible. I have had a lot of massages and I left this one walking on air, it was honestly the best massage I have had. I had a back, neck, shoulder and scalp massage I have never felt so relaxed. Perilla was professional and set me at ease right away. Thank you!

Having a combination of a head, body and face massage with Irina was just the most ideal reset and like no massage I’ve had before. I felt both energised and relaxed, and like time had stood still! Irina is so knowledgeable about the styles she uses and I felt safe, nourished and entirely at ease. I’ve been going to Sophie for treatments for a while now and she is absolutely brilliant! Mostly been for deep tissue massages on my back, not for the faint-hearted but very effective. Sophie is professional, knowledgable, friendly and excellent at what she does. Had a lymphatic drainage massage today, which was also fabulous!

Incredible Japanese head spa, such a relaxing environment from the offset with the heated bed and weighted blanket. My scalp has never felt so clean and healthy, and the mini facial and neck and shoulder massages were an amazing bonus!

My first ever deep tissue massage, and my first ever appointment with Elise. Absolutely amazing experience! She worked wonders on the many areas of tension, and despite some (expected) ouchy moments working out the deep knots, I left feeling so much better physically and definitely a lot more relaxed. Just wish I had the money to have a couple of these every week! Room is lovely and cosy, absolutely adore the electric under blanket!Definitely deserves the 5 stars x

Wonderful experience having my first Ayurvedic massage with Irina. She very calmly and patiently explained the process and the philosophy of Ayurveda, and helped find the appropriate oil for my body. I will definitely be back and be recommending Irina to my friends in York and visitors.

I had a massage with Pernilla and it was incredible!!! Honestly, I feel like I dozed off during the massage because it was that relaxing. She is very kind and asks lots of questions beforehand to make sure she delivers what the client needs. I told her about some sore spots and she made sure to work on those knots. I wish the massage lasted another hour because I was soo relaxed I didn’t want to leave. it was truly amazing and I’m going back for more sessions! Thanks Pernilla!!

I had a fantastically relaxing massage with PERNILLA. She did a medium touch body massage and I felt she worked all my muscles really carefully but with just the right amount of pressure . My neck and shoulders felt much freer afterwards . The whole room ambiance is so relaxing , the fragrances are lovely , and with a soft heated blanket underneath it’s a perfect space to relax and feel comfortable. Irina's healing hands are an absolute joy. She made me feel very comfortable and explained everything very clearly before we got started. The head and face massage were so calming I was instantly relaxed. After the full body massage I left on a cloud smelling of beautiful oils. The next day really surprised me as it felt like a cloud had been lifted from my head and I have been able to articulate my thoughts more clearly since.
