Record a sale

Creating a sale in Fresha is quick and simple, whether you're starting from scratch or using an existing appointment. It helps keep everything organized by automatically recording the payment, updating your reports, and even sending thank you messages to the clients.

In this lesson, I'll show you how to create a sale and finalize it with just a few clicks.

You can create a sale through this add button in your calendar. Here you can go on to add items like appointments into your cart, but the quickest way is to go through a completed appointment directly from your calendar. Then select checkout. This takes you directly to the cart where you'll notice that the client and services from the appointment are already added. From here, you can add more to your cart including appointments, services, products, memberships or gift cards. Just search for what you need and add it to the cart. For example if you're selling a product just find it in the product category, add it to the sale and it's ready to go.

You can also speed things up by using a barcode scanner to instantly add products, so there's no need to search manually. An easy way to save even more time is by setting up a quick sale. This lets you add your most popular items making them instantly accessible for faster checkouts. When you're ready, click continue to payment and select your preferred method. If Fresha payment processing is enabled, you'll have access to multiple options including the client's saved card on file.

When everything is set, proceed to take the payment. Once the payment is processed, the appointment will be marked as complete and grayed out in your calendar. A thank you message will be automatically sent to your client. You can also print out a receipt from here too

And that's it! You've just created a sale in no time!
