I’ve been going to Jeoin since I moved to Singapore in 2023. I have very curly hair, and despite the fact that hers is naturally straight, she always cuts it like she’s a naturally curly-haired person. She listens to my wants, provides me her guidance and opinions, and then cuts away. I’ve always walked away a satisfied customer loving my new look. The salon is great and very centrally located in the Tanglin area. They offer scalp and shoulder massages and beverages, as part of their service. I would highly recommend Trimmings and Jeoin if you’re in need of a cut or new stylist.

I was visiting Singapore and wanted to get a haircut + highlights, Sankakkei is close to Chintown and a very convenient location, most importantly they open early at 8a and had appointments available. Erica was wonderful, super sweet and very professional, gave me solid recommendation for highlight color and was very friendly and easy to work with. Roy is always the barber I look for whenever I come in. Every haircut with him is consistently 100% top-notch the attention to detail, precision, and care he puts into his work really shows. He takes the time to understand exactly what I want and somehow manages to exceed expectations every single time. Honestly, I’d say Roy is one of the best barbers in Singapore. Yasu was warm and friendly throughout. At the start, he took the time to discuss my preferences and choices. Then he carried out his work with great professionalism and elegance. At the end, when I asked if tipping was customary, he kindly explained that it wasn’t part of the local culture. It was my first time visiting Singapore. As a tourist, I found the whole experience delightful, and I would love to return to have my hair done there with him again.
