11/10 experience! This salon was clean and the staff was nice and efficient. I’ve been to many salons and this was the most thorough hair wash and scalp massage I’ve ever had. And Curly was just amazing! I had the best experience with him. He listened and took his time to get my cut as precise and perfect as possible. He also gave me styling tips and got my pin straight hair to look voluminous like I wanted. Glad I found my new go to spot, and for my cut to be under $100 with tip is unheard of in New York.

What a treat it is to come get my haircut and spend time with the lovely ladies at Crissel New York! Crissel is not only a phenomenal hairdresser but also kind, thoughtful, and funny. I always have such a great time chatting with her and her awesome crew (namely Rosie and Susie). Crissel always makes me look and feel fabulous... and at a great price. Even after moving away from the neighborhood, I still maker the trek back because I know I can rely on Crissel to make me look my best (and give me a few good laughs). It was my first visit and it was lovely. I love my hair, I love the staff, I love my stylist (Lauren), I love the way the products smell, I love the way everything looks inside, I love their organization and the way they handle business. If I wasn't moving next month, this would be my permanent salon, but unfortunately I'm leaving New York. :(

I have been a long-time customer of Masumi, and she is truly amazing. I have naturally frizzy, wavy hair that is very difficult to manage on my own, but Masumi always performs a total transformation. What I appreciate most is that she designs styles to last—she doesn't just focus on how it looks today, but how it will grow out. My highlights blend perfectly into my roots even months later! She is a master of everything: highlights, Japanese straight perms, and haircuts. Also, don’t miss out on her shampoo—her head massages are the best! I highly recommend her to anyone.

Loved my time with Liv! I had just taken out my braids and needed a good deep conditioner, silk press, and trim. She took great care with my hair. The silk press came out perfectly straight and smooth, and she was friendly and professional throughout the entire appointment. She even gave me tips for maintaining the style. I had a great experience at Toto hair! I came in looking for a trim and face framing. Kelly did an amazing job and took her time with my blowout/straightening as well. I have medium length and it was actually $77 (straightening + $20) since it was my first appointment I got a discount, but it would normally be $90 + $20 for straightening. Would highly recommend!

Love getting my hair washed there, water pressure is great. Hair assistant always does a great job. Had my hair colored, and keratin for the third times there. Curly and his assistant Rose were very good. Never had to worry if they will do a good job. Price is good especially for what you get.
