As always, my appointment at Self left me feeling like me again. After a really difficult year of sudden hair loss, I finally worked up the courage to go for a cut that felt healthy, fuller, and fresh. Maria Barca has been my trusted stylist for years, and she continues to meet me with so much care and understanding. I’m very emotionally attached to my hair, and she’s always gentle, supportive, and honest about what will look and feel best. And truly, the entire team at Self is exceptional!!!!!!

The salon is beautiful, the stylists are friendly, knowledgeable, and had nice hospitality. My stylist took my coat for me and hung it up, it was a snowy day so they had a bin for umbrellas, and they served drinks like tea, water, and seltzer water.

Amazing experience!! I started off with saline removal (not here) and it was a nightmare so I decided to try laser. She was SO thorough for the first appointment, she really took her time to properly explain what was going to be done to remove my microblading (previous artist). Second appointment we were already seeing progress with my eyebrows and the pigments coming off. 100% will recommend to my friends that also want microblading removed. I can’t wait to go back for hopefully one final session!

Lynne was everything and more to my hair! My experience was very peaceful and therapeutic. From the washing to detangling to even the heat application I was in no sort of pain and she constantly checked in on me. Her energy was so sweet and I felt so comfortable for a first time visit. I cannot recommend Francisco enough! He did my hair and makeup for my bridal shower, and I left feeling like an absolute superstar. The look was flawless, glamorous, and exactly what I had envisioned—he has such an incredible eye for detail. This place was AMAZING! So clean, felt very luxurious but was not crazy expensive, and was such a nice environment. Gigi listed to exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond to make the experience great. She fixed issues from previous salons and I can truly say it was the best haircut and color I’ve ever had! So excited to come back!

Flawless as always! I’ve been seeing Laura for about 3 years now. She’s amazing, and I highly recommend her! I have a globally recognized brand and am on TV frequently. Skillfully applied permanent makeup makes all the difference! Not to mention, do you know toxic most makeup now days is? If you’re on the fence about permanent makeup, definitely go for it!

Sasha explained thoroughly the saline procedure for the eyebrow powder removal. She made me feel comfortable during the procedure and provided detailed after care instructions. Sasha advised me I can contact her at anytime if problems should arise. Her studio is neat and clean she has great customer service skills. I will continue to follow up with her now and for future visits.
