The salon is beautiful, the stylists are friendly, knowledgeable, and had nice hospitality. My stylist took my coat for me and hung it up, it was a snowy day so they had a bin for umbrellas, and they served drinks like tea, water, and seltzer water.

Bobby is the best! The only person I go to for haircuts. He's friendly and upbeat, and an excellent barber who pays close attention to the details. Great at trimming and fading my sides and beard, and follow up with a hot towel. Tribeca hair studio is also great, the space is conveniently located, bright and clean, and reservation and payment is super easy.

Who wouldn't want someone to turn their children into "model" citizens! My girls go from "Cousin it" to beautifully coiffed in no time flat! We have been going as a family to Karen at Tribeca Hair Studio and it's the quickest mood elevator you'll ever experience short of walking the red carpet with all the paparazzi. Karen is an absolute delight! I almost feel like keeping this secret to myself but I feel she's too good. If you're looking for a quick pick me up or thinking about making a style change- schedule an appointment as she can get quite busy!

My experience was very pleasant. I was taken to my seat as soon as I arrived. My stylist was sweet. I thought the cut looked great - however, it was a bit shorter than I requested so I did feel a little disappointed at the length. I understand the ends of my hair were quite damaged, but I wish it could have ended up a little longer.

I’ve got to say, this is hands down the best haircut I’ve ever had. Eugene was very welcoming and made the whole experience really enjoyable. He explained what he was doing step by step, which I was pleasantly surprised by. I really appreciated how he took his time to make sure everything was perfect. I’m super happy with how it turned out and can’t wait to go back. Definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great haircut!

One of the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten! Jill truly cares about what she does and doesn’t rush the process. I have curly hair but living in NY, the water makes it so stale and flat. She cut it in such a way that it brought my hair back to life and gave me advice on how to make the most of my curls. Lynne was everything and more to my hair! My experience was very peaceful and therapeutic. From the washing to detangling to even the heat application I was in no sort of pain and she constantly checked in on me. Her energy was so sweet and I felt so comfortable for a first time visit. I’ve been going to District 87 for years now and have seen multiple of the salon artists and stylist. I trust each one of them with their knowledge and skill in all things hair. Hopefully me being a repeat customer for 5 years says it all!

I came in for a big chop and ended up needing my sew in taken out. When I called to see if they could squeeze that in, especially being the last appointment on a Sunday afternoon at 3 pm, they did not hesitate to help. I really appreciated how accomodating they were. The service was great. My hairstylist was great! I absolutely love my big chop. I will definitely be coming back again.
