Stylists were patient and warm when dealing with my little one. He absolutely does not like getting his hair cut and always puts up a fuss, but they were gentle and understanding with him and cut at his pace. Will be bringing him back for sure. The fact that he got to sit in a car whilst getting a cut, was probably the highlight for him.

I had such a great experience at Jem 3-Arts. The team was really friendly, and even though they were running a bit behind, they offered me a complimentary hair treatment, which I really appreciated. The service was excellent — I felt so relaxed during my wash. Honestly, one of the best salon experiences I’ve had in Cape Town, and so affordable too. I’ll definitely be back!

I had the most incredible experience at BOA Plumstead! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The salon itself is stylish, clean, and has such a relaxing vibe — truly a hidden gem in Plumstead. But the real highlight of my visit was Dania, the nail tech. She is beyond talented — an absolute artist when it comes to nails! Not only is her work flawless and meticulous, but she’s also incredibly accommodating and attentive to detail. Whether you’re going for a bold statement set or something more natural, Dania knows exactly how to bring your vision to life.

Terri is amazing with blond highlights. Over the moon with my colour. The hair style suggested by Terri is the best .

Visiting Cape Town and thankfully got an appointment pretty last minute, did a great job on my fill and creating freehand nail art for me! I'll be back soon

My nails are great, the nail artist did a great job. My only critique is the music. It’s a terrible play list (of course tastes differ) and it would be very welcome to come into an establishment that plays South African music. Not only to support local artists but also to create a more South African welcoming atmosphere. I came with friends visiting from Germany and they say they love Cape Town but would like more local music to be played. My take is with so many young/hip people working in the space it would make sense for them to create a playlist that is hipper and more relaxing for all.

Did a Hollywood wax - super quick and pain free. My second time doing it here and barely had any ingrows. Recently did my T-panel and face framing highlights, was super affordable and I’ve been getting so many compliments. My hair is very fine and there’s been no breakage afterwards and it’s been about 3 weeks now. Hair in a good condition not dry at all
