Lee was absolutely amazing! She fixed a colour I hated and treated the damage from previous overprocessing with so much care and skill. She even took me in last minute and stayed late to make sure everything was perfect just in time for my birthday — I truly appreciated that extra effort. You can really see how passionate she is, not just about hair, but about how her clients feel when they walk out. I left feeling like myself again. Highly recommend!

I visited Nubian Crown in Hyde Park for a microloc retie and had a fantastic experience. I booked online using the Fresha app and had no hassles when I got to the salon. The retie was done by Zintle and co, who were both incredibly professional and fast. We finished within 3 hours. The interlocking process was painless (which is huge for me). The salon itself is clean and has a great upmarket vibe. Highly recommend it if you want your natural hair treated with care. Definitely worth the price!

It feels so good to be back home, my hair is so happy , I come in looking scruffy and walked out looking and feeling so good and so refreshed. I can’t wait for my next treatment appointment because the head massage I received during my wash and conditioning session left me wanting to doze off… the vibes and girl talks are always a vibe but if you are not a talker the playlist is always on point. Thank you ladies please don’t forget Vee leave again.

I always enjoy my experience here, whether it’s with Nelisiwe or one of the other ladies. They really show care for your hair and even if you’re tender headed and a natural, you won’t feel the pain. The environment is always vibrant as well. Mmabatho is the best I have had so far, she was very gentle especially with my sensitive cuticles. She paid very careful detail to the shape and made sure to check in often if I was happy and comfortable! Definitely coming back for a refill.

I took my daughter to Eli Natural for their children’s styling. They gave her a moisture treatment and styled her hair in an updo very well. True to their word, this didn’t involve any blow drying, use of synthetic fibre used on her hair, or tension on her scalp. Her hair is clean, neat well done and no tears. Thank you! And thank you to Monica for her patience and for engaging with my daughter.
