I travel the country 10 months out of the year, so I’ve sat in a lot of different barber chairs from coast to coast. That being said it my opinion that Shine on is the best barber shop in the country. I’m not local to Chicago either, I travel from Arkansas to get my haircut and beard by Julio. I’d trust any member of the staff to cut my hair, everyone is top notch. At shine on you are made to feel like family. I feel like the most handsome man alive every time I leave their establishment.

The entire team at Shine On exceeded expectations. I don’t know thst I’ve had a salon experience in Chicago where I felt I was actually being listened to when explaining what I’m looking for. Noah took the time to explain what he was doing, including what I could expect two and three cuts out. I had eyebrow threading done with Weronicka and she too was amazing. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a grown up experience. I’ll be sharing the Shine On business card with friends and look forward to my next salon day.

Best barber in the city. Been going to Noah for over a decade, well before Shine-on. There’s an obvious reason why people followed him thru the years: best service, great facility and most importantly the best barber skills in the chi. You won’t be disappointed, just look at the reviews.

Yo these folks know what they're doing. My job is exclusively male so I didn't want something too shiny on the manicure. I don't know her name but the miss who works there couldn't have done a more superb job. I've been to other nail salons - my ex talked me into it a long time ago a few times - but I have a job interview and I feel confident, clean, and nonetheless masculine - like I said my job is basically a frat house as far as how all us salesmen dudes behave - t she got it spot the f on. Highly recommend!

Shine On Salon is a great male personal grooming salon. After the rave comments that I received from my female coworkers after my first haircut, only Julio cuts my hair. I got a really good chair massage while I was there a couple of visits ago. Weronika gets rid of acne, smoothes dry skin, and she is a great esthetician. She is a really sweet person as well. I have been going there for months now and I have nothing but great things about the staff and the salon. .

I started coming here in 2018 and can’t believe I haven’t left a review yet. I went through at least 12-15 different barber shops before I found shine on. The team is amazing and they provide top of the line service. I will continue to come here for all my hair cut and facial needs. Thanks!

Amazing hair salon for men! Honestly I was have second thoughts because it was a bit pricy for me. But after my haircut with Mike, it was MORE than worth it. These guys know what they are doing for sure. I recommend if you’re looking for a new place, to try something new. 🔥

My first time showing up to this place was a fantastic experience. Everyone is so friendly and they offer so much more than just a haircut. I had Ahmad as my barber and he is by far the best barber I have ever had. This guy is the nicest person and was willing to listen to exactly what I wanted. I will keep coming back because of him. Barber took care of me, didn’t feel like a rush job, just to get to the next person. Took my instructions I wanted for my hair, and also gave me a few tips on moisturizing my scalp for healthy head. Thanks Mike for a great experience!

Mike is the absolute best barber. His level of cleanliness and detail is bar none. He follows current trends of not only what looks nice, but what is great looking on each guy’s head/hair type. He’s honest and dedicated and loves what he does. It shows with each cut.
