The best service and best customer service. I live in Nelson but is from naenae and everytime i come home this is were in come. I am fussy with my hair and these ladies get it right everytime. What I also love is that the starlight staff remeber my name and conversation we had when I last saw them. Im home every 8weeks. Very family based and the salon feels like home away from home. Will see you ladies in 8weeks. You wont be disappointed bonus thr prices are good 👍

Only had 30 minutes which was not enough! If you go full 1hr highly recommended. Had 30min deep tissue and body feels so good after only 30 minutes. 1hr would have been much better

I tried a Lymphatic massage this week and was again pleased to receive a great experience. Very different to the Deep Tissue I have been getting, but on Natcha's advice I was keen to try it. Some areas in my lymphatic system need some more attention, so I will have another one this week.

The massage therapist listened to me, and the message was excellent; I could meditate while it was going on; we plan on even better next time, as I was able to tell them where else I was sore... And also, she gave me two warm towels, fresh and hot, and lovely nice scent, and a hot fresh ginger tea. Everything went wonderful. Very friendly and warm, welcoming atmosphere and treatment from the staff. I quite loved it. Not to mention, they have these little lollies, in wrappers, you can take one, I didn't have to ask, they were so nice at The Bamboo Spa. Lower Hutt.

This time I booked myself a deep tissue massage as I have experienced discomfort and stiffness in the muscles around my lower back and hipbone as well as my knees. After managing to get me in a deep state of relaxation, Woody did some deep pressure massage and manipulated my legs while twisted in a side wards stretch that really targeted some of the muscles that had been playing up. Big thank you, more please!

It was very soothing and relaxing. I recommend anybody who has tightness in the muscles and any aches and pains, please have a visit to Bamboo Spa Lower Hutt. Top notch.

After doing some heavy work in my garden the last week my left hop abd thigh and knee started playing up and the muscles around the hip joint had tightened up. I booke a 90 min deep tissue massage with Woody my regular male therapist. The deep treatment was painful and he knew exactly to locate and administer the right amount of deep pressure that allowed the muscles to relax and release the tightness. Painful but incredibly rewarding afterwards. Back for more for sure!!!

Today I had a 90min hard pressure massage with cupping from the amazing Phelina. I am always on cloud 9 when I go to Bamboo spa Lower Hutt and the ladies there are all incredible. I do also opt for VIP vouchers which work out far better financially, but also, you know that you are investing in yourself and always look forward to the next one. Thank you Bamboo Spa

Just wow! Natcha was outstanding, she was onto muscle tightness in spots I didn’t even know were there. My body is moving with much less stiffness. I have found sometimes deep tissue massage can be quite painful at times. I have had massages from Natcha at least 3 times and have never experienced pain.

Had yet another wonderful experience at Bamboo spa Lower Hutt. My Masseuse Rachel is such a caring person who is adaptable to concentrating on specific tight areas on the back and shoulders when requested. Bamboo spa Lower Hutt is by far the best massages I’ve experienced. Highly recommend their traditional Hilot massage with Ventura cupping.

Today Woody worked a lot on my back neck and shoulders and i became aware of how much tension i carry there and how that also effects my hip and legs. His treatment was the perfect balance between deep tissue pressure point (very painful) and long easing strokes with oil which allowed me to relax on a deeper level. We are so lucky to have Only U Massage in our lives, thank you Woody and thank you Aunty for providing such excellent and professional service. Highly recommend!!

Woody is an extraordinary masseur and the more often you see him the more he understands your body and provides what you need. He is also able to work with specific requests like todays session i wanted him to particularly work on my legs which he did in a combination of deep tissue pressure point massage and effective and innovative stretches.
