Sophia came to my rescue after an unfortunate colour experience with another hairdresser. I am not local to Exeter, as I had travelled down from Kent for my wedding and needed my colour sorted urgently and Sophia managed to fit me in at short notice. I walked into the salon for the first time yesterday and showed Cressida the type of look I was after. After lockdown with roots down to my ears originally it wasn't going to be an easy fix but I was amazed with how it turned out. It was exactly what I was after, I am SO pleased with the colour and really appreciate the thought and effort put in. Cressida was brilliant and I'd really recommend her expertise. The cut and blow-dry is also exactly to my style. Would 100% recommend this salon and will certainly be coming back! Thank you x

I can't recommend Sophia highly enough. She is warm, welcoming, friendly, and very knowledgeable. She really listened to what I wanted and took the time to understand my hair and preferences. Sophia offered excellent advice and made me feel completely at ease throughout the appointment. The results were fantastic, both cut and colour. I left the salon feeling fab. Had my first visit to this salon today and I’m honestly so impressed! My hairstylist Maddie was incredibly patient and attentive from the very start. During the consultation, she really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted—she even took notes to make sure everything was just right. I felt completely listened to throughout the whole process, and the effort she put in really shows in the final result. I absolutely love my hair colour and cut! Such a great first experience—I’ll definitely be coming back 😊

Kate is incredibly experienced. She has worked with all sorts of different hair and trained to style while caring. I am so lucky to have found her after years of searching for a hair dresser who knows how to handle my big thick hair. Tucked away off the magical ghandi street in Exeter, Fern is intimate beautiful and so relaxing, feels, smells and music tunes .. perfect. Her products are all ethically and sustainably sourced, and she is a very kind, cultured and warm friendly stylist to spend time with! She is also very reasonably priced. Thanks Kate for being awesome!

Great service, Katie was very friendly and offering loads of great advice for hair care treatments at home, would definitely recommend Fern Hair studio if you are looking for a welcoming and efficient place in Exeter.

Very nice first appointment with Garry. Took his time prepping my hair before the wash and gave me a couple of treatments to take out the dullness and to lighten up my hair. Garry is new to Exeter and would like to open his own place, which I’m sure will be a success. Will be booking in again, for sure!

My hair has never looked so good. The cut stays in a lovely shape right up until my next visit and the colour does such a good job of blending with my grey that’s starting to come through but it stays well hidden. The added benefit is that it’s always a joy to see Soph.
