Absolutely loved my full body massage & hot stones with Gaynor. This is the first time I’ve ever had a massage as I’ve always avoided it with having a cervical slipped disc, it was the best decision I could of made having it done. Gaynor made me feel so comfortable & relaxed, explained everything in detail. My daily pain feels so much more subsided, this is something I will go on to have done on a monthly basis, the environment is relaxing & comfortable I almost fell asleep. If you have ever wanted a massage but not been sure if you’d feel comfortable The Massage Academy is the place for you.

Fabulous relaxing massage that was fully tailored to my requirements. Lovely comfortable couch with heated mattress, soothings surroundings and wonderful massage therapist. Looking forward to my next appointment.

I haven been visiting Katrina for the last couple of years for lymphatic drainage massages. The benefits I get from these are worth every single visit. My body debloats, less fluid retention, my mind feels settled and I feel so much more refreshed and detoxed. The massages were to help me with fluid retention In my legs and the consistency of monthly visits have paid off for me. Katrina herself is absolutely amazing, genuinely loves her job and the effort she puts into the treatments is the best. She genuinely cares! She genuinely looks after you! She’s a master at her craft!

Lindsay was amazing! from the moment i first met her she was so calm and the place in her garden is so relaxing and peaceful, it’s lovely and quiet and you can hear the birds singing, lindsay talked through everything step by step and in great detail and put my mind at ease with everything, the treatment itself was very professional and calm, i felt completely at ease as so relaxed and stress free! she gave me all the aftercare on what to do to continue to achieve the best results! i’ve already booked my next 2 sessions i can not wait! Thank you so much.. x

A fantastic visit yet again at the massage academy with Gaynor. There's always a lovely relaxed atmosphere throughout treatment and Gaynor always speaks and explains of anyway aspects you need to be aware of throughout. Currently recovering from a mild rtc and my second visit with Gaynor I'm already feeling a huge benefit from my therapy. It was good to hear that an old school friend of mine had also visited through my recommendation too.

Had the 90 minute signature massage with Caroline and honestly it was fantastic. Properly relaxing but also one of those massages where you can tell it’s actually doing something. She went straight to the tight, stress hoarding areas, pressure was perfect, and nothing felt rushed. I walked in tense and slightly feral and walked out calm, loose, and significantly nicer to be around. Would 100% book again.

This is the best beauty shop in Castleford always a warm welcome nothing is ever to much trouble always leave with a smile 😊 on my face perfect for a pamper had nails lashes eyebrows done here but favourite pamper has to be the pedicure problems float away as you fully relax thank you so much Sarah and rest of the team 💅❤️💅

Had a blissful massage & reiki treatment with lovely Micheala. She made me feel totally at ease and is so warm and friendly. The massage was just the right pressure, relaxing but getting into those areas where tension lies . Then came the magic of reiki.. felt so much heat and a release of energy. I feel that care and time is taken on my treatment. Nails tend to last a full 3 weeks. Ive been 4 times and already rebooked my next two appointments. Would highly recommend. Ange of castleford.
