It’s always hard to find a good barber; especially when you have a history of bad haircuts. My wife and I are in town for a photo shoot this week and I was doing some extensive research before even arriving in Portland for a barber I felt would be a good fit. After doing some good research of several places, I landed on Marcos at Throne and I couldn’t be happier! He was quick but very detailed oriented. He gave me exactly what I asked for and I am super pleased with the results! I’d definitely come back next time I’m in Portland!

I have been to ALOT of barbers in Portland and the surrounding area. Shauna is the only one that has lived up to my high expectations of what a barber entails. I won’t let anyone else touch my beard. She’s also a great person and I always have an amazing g exsperiance everytime I go. I couldn’t be happier.

Mr. Lane is quite possibly the best barber and barber teacher in all of Portland, perhaps all Oregon. I came in with a need for a very tricky haircut that he knew very well and was able to teach his student with thoroughness and depth. I hope I can make Mr. Lane's my go-to for all foreseeable future. Thank you all at Champions!

Carelli is one of the best barbers I've been to. I've visited many Beaverton Portland barbers and she gives a premium top tier quality haircut. Highly recommend

I had an absolutely lovely session with Jerry! I was definitely a challenge for him coming in with 15 years of untrimmed hair length and 12 years of unkempt beard, but he worked some sort of miracle and had me leaving with a beard and hair looking bigger and fuller after the trim and clean up. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Portland!

I’m an educator for Aveda The North America team. I moved to Portland 2 years ago and haven’t found a good barber here. David cuts my hair and he understood what I was looking for. He is an amazing barber with so much talent. I strongly recommend him!

Jillian was the literal BEST. I've always said to my barber (whomever that might be) "you're the expert, can I hear what you think/recommend?" and for the first time in my adult life, she did!!! Not only was she incredibly helpful, but she also gave me what I consider the best cut I've ever had in almost 9 years living in Portland. 11 out of 10! Highly recommend!

Shawna is an artist that has Mastered her craft. There us an abundance of decent barbers in Portland, but Shawna is one of the few experts in town. I don't think Shawna truly knows how awesome she is, because she is still humble, approachable, and not an egomaniac.

This barbershop consistently stands out for its cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is always professional, respectful, and eager to help. Agustin, in particular, is hands down the most precise barber I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Not only does he deliver exceptional cuts every time, but he also brings great energy and engaging conversation to the chair. It's clear that this isn't just one of the best barbershops in Portland—it's one of the best I've ever had the privilege of visiting. I highly recommend!
