Mr. Lane is quite possibly the best barber and barber teacher in all of Portland, perhaps all Oregon. I came in with a need for a very tricky haircut that he knew very well and was able to teach his student with thoroughness and depth. I hope I can make Mr. Lane's my go-to for all foreseeable future. Sang is an excellent barber and has taken great care of me every time I get my haircut. He makes me feel welcome and is very skilled at the art of taming my mane. He keeps a good crew on board at his 3 locations as evidenced by the fact that they’re always busy and everyone getting their haircut looks happy and has a great looking “do” when they’re leaving. I highly recommend the skilled barbers at Thrine. They’ll treat you like a king!

I’ve been going to Nathan for over a year and a half at Throne. I always have a great experience and a great looking, quality haircut and that draws compliments. Clean fades, line ups, and styling. I have been going to Throne for well over a year now, and I wish I would have come here sooner. Great cuts, friendly barbers, and Sang Nguyen is the best! He is always a blast to talk with, and my haircuts just keep getting better. If you are thinking about trying a new barber, I highly recommend that you give Throne a shot.

I had a solid experience today at CBI. Chris took his time and gave me a great cut and beard trim! He was focused and exact, making sure he not only did a cut that I like but also making sure he did it the right way. I appreciate him for working with the shears and tackling the job. It’s always hard to find a good barber; especially when you have a history of bad haircuts. My wife and I are in town for a photo shoot this week and I was doing some extensive research before even arriving in Portland for a barber I felt would be a good fit. After doing some good research of several places, I landed on Marcos at Throne and I couldn’t be happier! He was quick but very detailed oriented. He gave me exactly what I asked for and I am super pleased with the results! I’d definitely come back next time I’m in Portland!

Jillian was my barber and it was a great experience! I came in with some pretty long hair and she got me cleaned up and looking proper. She was very easy to talk, professional, and made sure that we were both on the same page before beginning the cut. Her attention to detail is second to none and she created a pleasant experience and space for a haircut. Will be going back!

Came in late at 7pm. I know everyone’s tired cause they’ve probably been cutting hair all day. But I was blown away at the care and detail I got. Carelli cut my hair and gave me a beard trim. It was soo good, everything from the fade, to the blend, to the trim of the top, then the beard line up. It was all carefully done to the detail. Everyone wants to be off work but she more worried about making sure my hair and beard was cut to perfection, I could tell and I really appreciated that. I never write reviews but I feel fresh af and that’s what matters when leaving the shop. Thank you!

Throne has consistently been an excellent place to get my haircut for years now. Never a bad experience. They offer top notch hair care in a relaxing and welcoming environment. I particularly want to give Sang a shout out, he is a pro-barber-stylist-ninja! His shears have kept me looking sharp for years.

I had an absolutely lovely session with Jerry! I was definitely a challenge for him coming in with 15 years of untrimmed hair length and 12 years of unkempt beard, but he worked some sort of miracle and had me leaving with a beard and hair looking bigger and fuller after the trim and clean up. Definitely coming back next time I'm in Portland!

I really enjoy this place. Walked by a few weeks ago and even from the outside I knew I wanted to get a haircut there. I love the ratings that each barber collects so you have great feedback on all their services before booking.

Alex is the best Barber I have ever had, he listens, suggests ideas, and even offers to have me come back, if anything isn't working out well (I have never had to take him up on this offer) The rest of the staff, from what I have seen, does fantastic work as well. All the staff are friendly, genuine, and make it a great space to be in. Keep up the excellent work!

I’ll be moving out is state in a few weeks. Taking with me many conversations with Sang and much laughter. I will miss not only his exceptional haircuts and ultra relaxing scalp massages but his friendship and generosity. First class guy and first class barbershop.
