À quelle fréquence dois-je faire une séance de sauna ?

Beaucoup de gens aiment les saunas tous les jours, mais si vous êtes en bonne santé et nouveau, essayez 1 à 3 séances par semaine. Vous pouvez augmenter le nombre de rendez-vous une fois que votre corps s'y est habitué. Si vous avez une maladie cardiovasculaire ou une pression artérielle basse, vous devez consulter votre médecin avant d'utiliser un sauna.

Combien de temps dure une séance de sauna ?

Vos premières séances ne devraient pas durer plus de 5 à 10 minutes, mais une fois que vous êtes habitué aux saunas, vous pouvez augmenter la durée des séances individuelles à 20 minutes.

Pourquoi devrais-je utiliser un sauna ?

Les séances de sauna peuvent apporter de nombreux avantages : elles augmentent votre fréquence cardiaque et stimulent la circulation ; elles peuvent réduire la tension musculaire, l'inflammation et le stress ; et elles peuvent aider les personnes souffrant d'asthme et de psoriasis. La recherche suggère également que les saunas peuvent réduire le risque de démence et d'Alzheimer.

Que dois-je faire avant une séance de sauna ?

Vous perdrez beaucoup d'eau par la transpiration une fois dans un sauna, alors aidez votre corps en buvant progressivement une pinte d'eau avant votre séance. Cela vous aidera à prévenir la déshydratation. Vous devriez également prendre une douche avant un sauna et prendre le temps de vous détendre.

Que dois-je faire après une séance de sauna ?

Buvez beaucoup d'eau : vous devrez remplacer le liquide que vous avez perdu par la sueur, alors buvez au moins 500 ml-1l (2-4 verres) d'eau après chaque séance de sauna.
