After my previous hairdresser had moved this was my first appointment at SJs Yulia was very informative about my natural hair type and has given me lots of information regarding care and technique to embrace my natural curls. It's lovely to have found a new hair dresser ❤️

Fabulous! Really friendly, took on board my concerns and found a solution that not only suited my hair needs but also suited my lifestyle. A colour and cut later and I feel a million times better (and younger) than when I walked in. Thank you Macy!

Amelia was very professional and friendly too. She asked about my preferences and offered helpful advice. I am pleased with my French tips. Might be helpful to have a Notice signposting where to go for the appointment as no one appeared at the reception area where I waited.

Georgia you’re a miracle worker, it was a pleasure to see you at your new salon. All the staff there are so friendly, it’s a really lovely environment to have your hair done. Calm and friendly. Whilst it’s a way out to get my hair done, it’s worth the drive. Can’t wait to see what you do there in the coming months. Thanks everyone for making me and little one so welcome. Xx

Victoria styled mine and my mum's hair for my registry office wedding - the styling was exactly as we wanted it and lasted all day. Victoria was also absolutely lovely!

Victoria was super friendly and welcoming. As we were in York for my daughters wedding we didn’t know where to get a hair up do and purely went off reviews. Victoria is excellent at up dos and 3 of us were more than happy with the end result. We would all 100% recommend her. You will not be disappointed I promise

Considering Macy is very new to the salon, she did a really good job with my colour, cut and even did some gorgeous curls. The heat lamp didn’t work and the water temperature was playing up but she handled it in a calm and professional manner. Thank you Macy :)

Char is THE best at hair extensions in York by a mile. The blend is outrageous, colour match is spot on, she just knows exactly how to make it look so natural. She’s also the best therapist whilst working! The easiest person to talk to, goes above & beyond to accommodate you with every appointment. Just always a pleasure. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. And neither should you..
