First time coming to Ellie and the experience was amazing! I’ve had multiple consultations regarding my hair with other salons and due to buildup of very dark brown box dye got told the most I could get done was highlights or they wouldn’t work with my hair at all Ellie on the other hand put me at ease and knew what I wanted without me having to over explain myself (I wanted to go back to my natural colour-mid ash brown as I’ve had enough of doing my roots) the salon atmosphere is private and comfortable perfect if you are a hijabi aswell and I honestly can’t be any happier

Zilim is not just a colour specialist by title alone, her skills are unmatched! Zilim has such an understanding of different hair textures and how to cut and colour curly hair. She made me feel so comfortable and at easy, she was so attentive and receptive about my desired look and also very realistic about what could be attained! I felt very confident leaving her to work her magic and the result exceeded all of my expectations! I’m so impressed and in love with my new look! I have type 4C hair and locs. It has been difficult finding a confident, trained and experienced colorist practitioner. Zilim also gives practical advice on hair care and makes you feel so good about being natural. Love the colour on my hair and how I am feeling.

Rachel is literally the best! She takes the time to understand what you want and explains all the options. The salon is warm and inviting and Rachel makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. I’ve been getting my haircut a while with Zilim and everytime leave feeling very happy and confident. The condition of my hair has massively been improved since Zilim started teaching me how to care for it better. I love how much care she puts into colouring and cutting hair it makes you feel in safe hands and every time it’s perfect and lasts a long time 😁 sitting in the chair is now catching up with a friend and it is always great fun.
