Nav (owner, operator) consistently exceeds expectations. Competitive pricing, consistent (and clean) amenities, comprehensive introductions for newcomers, and a calm relaxing space to unwind afterwards. It might be the only place to float in Birmingham City Centre but if it wasn’t it would probably still be the best! If you’ve gotten used to floating in the isopod in other spas around the world, you’ll be pleased with floating here!

I had such a lovely experience at this head spa. The environment was calm and really relaxing. Vee was amazing, attentive, polite, and explained everything clearly, which made me feel completely at ease. The scalp analysis was thorough and the massage was incredible. She was also so friendly and easy to talk to, which really made the experience. I would definitely recommend and will be coming back again.

I'm so glad I finally got back for another float, it genuinely is one of the best things I've done. The floating spa is so calm and the facilities are excellent with everything you need and no fuss. I personally adore the float pods, I left feeling so relaxed and calm, far more refreshed than even a good night's sleep. Staff are so kind and friendly and somehow even managed to remember me after a nearly 2 year gap. I really would highly recommend

I had my first ever head spa and cut and blow-dry with Vee - it was so relaxing and I felt comfortable straight away. My hair felt and looks great afterwards!

I visited the floating spa with a friend. It was a truly special experience. We had no idea what to expect, we were made so welcome, and everything was explained to us. Taking time in the relaxation area before your session starts is encouraged and is such a calming environment. The floating experience is a must for everyone. I have never felt so relaxed, and couldn’t believe how much tension my body was holding on too. I felt amazing afterwards and we have booked our next visit already!

My first float and was an amazing experience. Allow 2 hours on your first visit because you get to understand how it all works. It’s a very relaxed environment and my wife got to see the pod and relax with a book while I immersed for an hour. I did go straight in to full darkness and no sound and after teaching my body to relax the upper body, time just fell away. Highly recommend

First visit to the Floating Spa earlier today and had a wonderful experience! Nav talked me through everything I needed to know before I floated and answered any questions that I had to quash any possible problems. Cant recommend it enough and felt totally relaxed 😌 following the hour of total removal from the world! Thanks Nav and have already booked my 2nd float 🌞🌞

Love my time at King Thai Therapy. Amazing welcome the moment you walk in. Staff so friendly and the therapist are very professional and do a great job massaging my body. I recommend King Thai as the best massage in Birmingham by far.

My first time floating. I'd had a stressful day and a stressful journey into Birmingham, but the host immediately put me at ease and made the whole thing stress-free. Once in the tank it took me maybe 20 minutes to settle into the experience, which ultimately I found relaxing beyond measure. I lost track of time, and space. I didn't fall asleep but I did space out a bit. I tried the lights but ultimately preferred the darkness. To keep the air from getting too hot I left the lid open a little. Highly recommend everyone to try this.

Always wonderful, and it always provides exactly what I need. It goes without saying that the facilities are well considered, spotless and Nav is warm, kind and welcoming. This is such a gem in Birmingham, I only wish I lived closer. I feel genuinely grateful for the experience every time I close the door on the pod room.

I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was blown away by this experience. The owner was very knowledgeable and talked me through everything. I really enjoyed having an hour to just relax in the floatation pod. I didn’t want it to end and I felt so relaxed afterwards. I would recommend this to everyone and I’ll be visiting again soon.

I normally have 2 hour deep tissue massage with Sue but as I can only come on weekends and Sue is not available on weekends anymore I decided to have a 2 hour relaxing massage with Jessy for the first time today. I could almost fall asleep as Jessy made all my muscles feel soo relaxed and any aches and pains I have had from work were all gone. I will definitely rebook again with Jessy and appreciate King Thai ❤️
