What a wonderful experience at Penarth Scalp Spa! Helen is so knowledgeable about scalp health and it was so interesting to see my scalp health up close as part of the initial analysis before treatment. The essential oils used really made me feel relaxed and Helen explained everything beforehand. I was so relaxed, warm and cosy I could have lay there all day! The hand and arm massage was also a lovely surprise! Thank you so much Helen!

This is the best hair salon I have visited. Had my hair done by Teigan. What a fabulous hairdresser. My colour, cut and blow dry is wonderful so pleased. Highly recommend. Also Helen has done my hair and highly recommend her as well. Best salon in Penarth.

Had a haircut with Richard, absolutely lovely! Very kind and we chatted the whole time. He also asked my preferred pronouns, gave recommendations and more feminine and masculine ways to style my hair and talked about products that would work with my hair type. Very open communication and felt very comfortable. Top recommendations and 100% looking forward to coming back. First hair stylist to truly make me feel comfortable with my hair

Helen has been my hairdresser for over a decade now and she always knows when I need a change in style! She’s creative, coming up with new ideas for haircuts and is always interested in what I want to achieve with my hair. Helen has created a personal, safe and inviting salon in which you always receive a one to one service. I cannot recommend Helen enough, she’s empathetic, empowering and friendly and always wants to give people confidence in themselves.

Thank you so much for taking care of the young person I look after today. After the appointment they spoke about how much they appreciated that the hairdresser explained everything they were doing, used their preferred pronouns and let them keep their facemask on (as well as giving a brilliant haircut!) They hadn't had a haircut in many years and you made it a very positive experience for them. Thank you!

I have been going to Kelly for many years as she is such an amazing stylist. Today was my first visit to Kelly’s new place of work, Amore Hair Boutique in Penarth and what an amazing experience. The layout of the salon is so welcoming, well organised and pristine. I was greeted with a hot drink and a biscuit and can’t wait for my next visit. Thank you all x x ❤️

Great first time experience at Slunks today thank you Millie!! A previous stylist added a permanent red dye to my blonde hair instead of a toner which Millie managed to fix very well ☺️ super friendly staff and safe and inviting atmosphere.
