Best Barber in Brighton hands down. Takes his time wanting to know exactly what you want, a true artisan of his craft with masterful precision easily comparable to that of a heart surgeon. From clippers to scissors & straight razors every move made with one thing in mind to deliver the artwork level haircuts. Professional & friendly makes you feel welcome and appreciated, Yazan likes to build a rapport with his clients breaking the awkward initial barrier of being just another client. You will leave this place feeling fly as f***, nuff said.

Amazing experience….Christine is such a warm lovely stylist and so talented. She made absolutely sure what I was looking for and all the way through the cut kept checking with me. A lovely peaceful little salon. Fantastic head massage during my hair wash and I came out feeling like a new woman. It’s been a long time since a stylist actually cut my hair the way I want it! Thank you Christine ❤️

I have never received so many compliments on my hair in my life. So many people, even those I don't know well, have complimented my new hairstyle unprompted. Nat is so friendly and knowledgeable. She knows how to work with your natural hair and cuts in a way that doesn't require further styling to look amazing. No other hairdresser has known how to work with my wavy hair and lack of hairstyling ability like this. I think I'll keep coming back to Queer Shears for life!

Getting a curly haircut by someone with curly hair is a totally different experience. The cut was so amazing… but the advice on hair care treatment and products from her own tried and tested methods was something money can’t buy!!! Thank you so much x

Ash is my barber, he is very friendly and very good at what he does. He gives his opinion about how your hair is and what look your going for to make you look better. Lovely to chat too and easy to get along with. He takes time on your haircut to make sure you are satisfied with your haircut.

Loved my haircut with Reid at this little gem of a salon! When I told him I was off to a wedding he gave me the best possible blow dry to ensure it looked fabulous for as long as possible. I will definitely go back.

I love having my hair coloured and cut with Christine. The salon is really welcoming and relaxing. My hair has never looked more shiny & in condition! I find Christine to be an intuitive hairdresser who really listens to what I want & as well as being a fantastic hairdresser she is the loveliest, kindest person to talk to. Highly recommend :)

I was seen literally an hour after calling to see if there were any vacant slots which was epic itself as my hair really needed a good cut before my hols! My hairdresser was exceptional! An expert on cutting wavy/curly plus warm, friendly and knew exactly what to do to give my unruly, dry, grey hair a much needed bounce and lif sass! I walked away feeling fabulous
