I needed extensions for the first time, with an aim to thicken out my thinning hair and maybe add a bit of length. I can't find the words to explain just how happy I am with the whole experience and moreover the results. Everyone is very professional and helpful when you make your enquiry. It was steph who installed my 20" curly hair and wow...just WOW!!!!! I haven't been this happy with my hair in such a long time and it's given me some of my confidence back. I went for my first curly cut in about 2 years and I was honestly quite nervous because I rarely trust anyone with my hair, but I had such an amazing experience! Philomena was so lovely and made me feel completely comfortable from the start. We talked the whole time and i just felt so welcomed! My curls were treated with so much care and attention, and I’m so happy with the result. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Moved to Middlesbrough last year and fortunately found a great barber, Danny is class. Great haircuts, chat, and very good value for the quality you receive. You need to look no further than Skins & Needles if you're after a new barber shop in the area.

First time visiting. Anthony was great and listened to want I would like to achieve. Very relaxing and personable experience. Love the finished cut and colour & already booked in for my next visit. 100% recommend

Never use anyone other than Anthony in ten plus years. Incredible talent, way beyond just a hairdresser a creative talent. Such fab salon and service.

Best place to go for a haircut in middlesbrough, booked in for the weekend ready package with Laura, brilliant laugh and about as relaxing as it gets, nearly fell asleep at one point under the warm towel and the cherry on top of the cake, there was a cold beer waiting for me after the towel was lifted . You can tell she really loves what she does and it’s very very good at it, left looking like a new man... definitely won’t be going anywhere else from now on.

I hadn’t had my hair cut in a very long time due to nobody knowing how to handle my curly hair. However Philomena handled it with ease I can’t thank her enough. 110% recommend, such a nice inviting environment too!

Best hairdresser in Middlesbrough, was 10 mins late and still seen. Spent one hour sorting the mess out from my previous cut, definitely will be back again.
