Best Gel Nails near me in Observatory, Cape Town

Got a beautiful set of nails! The nail technician was a bit withdrawn and perhaps slightly unfriendly. I understand everyone has bad days but this seems to be a common theme with your nail technicians at all branches it seems…..as I go to different locations everytime, (CBD, Claremont, Rondebosch and now Observatory). I went in for soft gel tips with nail art. This was my first time visiting the place and was a bit skeptical as their Instagram page does not have a display of nails. However the results were great and I am extremely happy with the outcome! The staff is all friendly and welcoming, I enjoyed my time there. I was assisted by Audrey, she has a neat and steady hand, I am extremely happy with the outcome of the nails. I was also happy with the nail shape. P.S. Your work is great - and should be displayed more on your social media platforms

I really enjoyed my Gel Nails and Queen Pedi with Brenda, she did a wonderful job of my french mani. I love visiting BOA for my nails. However, I think BOA needs to invest in more exciting nail varnish colours, if you look at Sorbet's nail varnish, they have a much larger selection. I also think BOA should sell nail polish.

It was my first experience and I’ll definitely be coming back. I had gelish done and I did notice however the paint on my nails weren’t as smooth and evenly coated as I’ve liked it to be. A bit bumpy on some edges. But it’s not going to stop me from coming back.

This is my third visit, getting my nails done by Kim, and I couldn’t be happier with her work—my nails always look flawless! This time I got a polygel fill with gel, and it looks stunning! There was a bit of confusion when I got a call about my appointment booking, where it seemed like the timing would be an issue, but it wasn’t a problem at all. I ended up arriving on time, and Kim handled everything smoothly, as always. She’s really dedicated and professional, which is why I keep coming back.

Booked the mother/daughter bff deal. Colleen and Melody helped us and were friendly. Our gel nails came out well. It would have been nice to know up front that a nail design wouldn’t be possible. My mom couldn’t even do an ombre (or pay extra for it), because the staff member wasn’t in-house at that point. There were at least 7 technicians there and none of them could do an ombre? Suggestion to change the music - not everyone likes afrobeat and seeming that it is a nail salon for relaxation, some calmer music would do the atmosphere justice.

The space is spotless, smells amazing, and everything is beautifully clean and professional. Deborah was amazing! We had a lot of fun speaking in Portuguese, since she speaks 4 languages. It was one of the best experiences in Cape Town, for me, to have someone to speak to on my own language; any Brazilian would understand, it’s quite amazing to get their nails done and to be chatting at the same time. Can’t wait to go back to get another perfect color on my nails, and to be, again, pleased with the results of gel nail so professionally made by a great professional. Thank you !!!

Fadzai and Petronella took care of my acrylic set and gel on toes. The ladies are so undeniably good at what they do! I’m very happy with the nails. I was left concerned regarding the fact that I was not offered anything to drink and yet the lady that came in after me was. I do not want to speculate too much on the reason, but please do pay attention to that.

Karlien is FANTASTIC. So professional, friendly and really decently priced. Had my nails done (gelish) and they look stunning. Gem of a find.
