The salon is very pretty and clean, and my nails came out looking really nice. The only thing I was not very impressed with is the customer service. No one said hi or smiled at all, especially the front desk girl.. the nail tech never spoke to me, until the end when she recommended I do builder gel more often for my damaged nails. it all felt very transactional and not friendly. I would come back for the quality of the nails but it would be nice to feel welcomed too.

Hannah is genuinely the best! She always helps me pick a color that best suits my skintone and the vibe I’m going for! She is so much fun to talk to during my appointment. Had a fantastic nail appointment here! Stephanie was incredibly precise - I showed her an inspiration photo of neutral chrome gel builder nails, and she replicated the look perfectly. The shop itself is cute and nicely decorated/maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere. They have an impressive variety of color options to choose from. What made the experience even more special was enjoying their delicious hot tea while getting pampered alongside my mom. It was a perfect relaxation experience from start to finish. Definitely recommend for both the skillful nail work and the lovely ambiance!

Had my first Russian gel mani/ ped, and I am officially obsessed. I will be tracking about an hour to get my nails done moving forward! Brought my own nail colors, DND 879 & Lincoln Park After Dark on my Toes. They have a good selection though. The staff is so welcoming, checked in everystep if the way, with aesthetically pleasing being thr added bonus. Very quiet and relaxing, I’d def recommend.

Sako does an amazing job every time I go see her. She is always willing to accommodate her clients. I had a specific color in mind and brought my own polish-she happily accommodated that for me which I sincerely appreciate, even though it meant changing her standard process because the nail polish wasn't gel. I will continue making the commute out to Bethesda to see her as she always pays special attention to detail and makes sure her clients leave happy and with gorgeous, beautiful nails.

I had the best first time experience at this salon. Very clean, welcoming, good music and the staff was very friendly. I had Soko do my nails, it was a dip manicure with tips and I paid extra for more than one color. She took her time and delivered an excellent product! I am so happy with my nails and definitely look forward to revisiting again. Highly recommend Cosmo Salon & Nail Spa!

Loved Cosmo so much. Tammy is such a sweetheart and so is the woman I believe was the manager(?), who was also there doing hair and tidying the salon. Tammy did an amazing job on my Gel x extensions, which I had never had before. She was extremely thorough in her process which I really appreciate in a nail spa. I don’t get my nails done often, but I know a great price and experience when I see it and I will definitely be back!

This is my 3rd gel manicure on natural nails with Katya and each time, the experience has been great! Her work is impeccable. My nails are manicured and polished to perfection. And boy, do they last. Each manicure has lasted me at least 3 weeks and this last manicure was 4 weeks in before I got a fresh one. The salon is clean, everyone is nice and welcoming. And I’ve found street parking each visit. I live at the National Harbor (NH) and if you know this area, you know there are a lots of nail salons between NH and Clarendon, but I’m driving to Clarendon each time for Katya! Give Katya a try!

I’ve had my nails done at Chic Nail Studio for the last five months and they have been transformed. I went from short bitten nails to glamorous tips to now, my own long nails. They are professionals—knowledgeable about the health of nails as well as the beauty of them. I have changed the way I care for my hands and feet and I notice the difference (plus I get a lot more compliments on nails that are two or three weeks old). Great service, worth the money and time.

Oksana is a phenomenal nail care specialist and artist. She is meticulous, kind, and professional. Her passion is evident with every visit and the quality of my manicures. My gel sets last for 5-6 weeks, which means that she uses high quality products. I’m so happy I finally found someone that I can trust with caring for my nails.

I loved it! I liked how patient and detailed Kate was and her focus on health of my nails. She actually switched me to polish rather than gel since I’m growing out a bum nail. My only drawback was having to prop my knees up throughout the appointment. Otherwise this was a major upgrade from the standard nail salons and I’ll be back.
