Samantha is the owner of Sugr Sugr. I visited her today at the Merivale location for a full Brazilian sugar wax, and she was great. My first visit was a great experience, but it was my first time, so it did hurt a bit. However, I had an acceptable pain tolerance during the service. With the mask on afterward, it had a cooling sensation, which felt nice. She is nice, kind, and caring towards her clients (e.g., asking me if I am doing okay during and after the service). I will come back to see her for her waxing or sugar services at either this location or her Westboro location.

The best nail salon in Ottawa. Literally, every single technician working there knows what there are doing and are extremely skilled and professional. I’ve been getting back to back acrylic sets from them, and they have never dissapointer. Much love to the whole team :)

I had a wonderful experience at the Beauty Bar. A lovely, spacious, and relaxing salon. I enjoyed my mani pedi and my nails are beautiful and clean. I booked online and my appointment was on time.i highly recommend this salon.

Kim was very professional and did a great job on the rounding of my nails. Didn't particularly like the music played in the salon. Profanity in some of the songs was not appreciated and suggest a more spa like genre.

Staff were amazing! From the moment I walked in, everyone's was friendly, professional and quick! The vibes in the salon are very "Women's Power" vibe which was beautiful and welcoming. When getting the actual wax done, the waxer made sure I was well engaged in conversation to ignore the pain- (or in the case, lack there of!!!) this was my first treatment where it was completely painless. My experience with Trulyglowskin was by far the best waxing experience I have ever had! Ingrid is an aspiring young business owner…She is very professional and clean in the work she does. She is also certified and knows exactly what she is doing. She makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed. Ingrid also makes and sells her own body scrub which smells heavenly! Trulyglowskin is the only place I am going to for waxing from now on and I recommend everyone to schedule an appointment with Ingrid, especially if it is your first time getting waxed. Affordable prices for high quality results!
