Samantha is the owner of Sugr Sugr. I visited her today at the Merivale location for a full Brazilian sugar wax, and she was great. My first visit was a great experience, but it was my first time, so it did hurt a bit. However, I had an acceptable pain tolerance during the service. With the mask on afterward, it had a cooling sensation, which felt nice. She is nice, kind, and caring towards her clients (e.g., asking me if I am doing okay during and after the service). I will come back to see her for her waxing or sugar services at either this location or her Westboro location.

The best nail salon in Ottawa. Literally, every single technician working there knows what there are doing and are extremely skilled and professional. I’ve been getting back to back acrylic sets from them, and they have never dissapointer. Much love to the whole team :)

Kim was very professional and did a great job on the rounding of my nails. Didn't particularly like the music played in the salon. Profanity in some of the songs was not appreciated and suggest a more spa like genre.

I attended training with Diana for the brow master class which included brow Mapping & Shaping, Waxing, Lamination,Tinting (and the ombré effect), Stain, Henna, Theory manual , Full starter kit to start offering these services. She was very knowledgeable and was great at showing me in detail how to do each step. Very comfortable and clean studio. Very friendly also offered some snacks and water. I am excited to do the master lash training at the end of the month. Thank you again Diana !

This was my first trip to Amore Nails and Spa! This will be my forever nail salon! The staff were absolutely amazing!The atmosphere was amazing! The price was wonderful and the craftsmanship and time and quality that went into the work they did made me so happy! Staff were amazing! From the moment I walked in, everyone's was friendly, professional and quick! The vibes in the salon are very "Women's Power" vibe which was beautiful and welcoming. When getting the actual wax done, the waxer made sure I was well engaged in conversation to ignore the pain- (or in the case, lack there of!!!) this was my first treatment where it was completely painless.
