I have been getting my hair done by Kylie at Laura J for many years and I am always extremely happy with her work and salon. Now that she has moved to her home hairdresser I am also extremely happy. Her home salon is very well set out and very inviting. She runs a very professional business and her standard of hairdressing has remained as good as before. I moved house away from the area, but I still prefer to travel to get my hair done by Kylie as I know it is always cut well. and looks great. Kylie is an accommodating and friendly person to deal with and always looks after her clients.

First time customer here. I picked this hair salon from google search and good reviews. Appointment ran to time. I was well looked after. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. After my new hair colour and style I look 10 years younger! Highly recommend!!

All the ladies at the salon were so welcoming as soon as I walked through the door. I had my hair washed, blow dried and makeup done. It exceeded my expectations. I would definitely go back.

Nikoleta did a beautiful job on my hair! Took me from blonde to a gorgeous brunette with extensions and the whole experience from my initial consult to appointment was very comfortable and welcoming. Salon vibes mean a lot to me, and Esteem hit the mark beautifully. Thank you, girls!

The team are absolutely amazing! They’re always so accommodating, even when I book at the last minute. I’ve been gradually lightening my hair, and I really appreciate how much they care about protecting it from damage. Their advice on aftercare and maintaining my hair between salon visits has been so helpful. Each team member is incredible in every way—from being colour experts to hair-cutting magicians, and not to mention those heavenly head massages that make you melt right out of the chair while getting your hair washed. This is by far my favourite hair salon. Well done team!

I’ve been going to Equal Image from their beginning in High St , and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. Jade's consistently amazing, always understands exactly what I want, and somehow makes me feel brand new every single time. Today’s visit was no exception—beautiful cut, fresh style, and that head massage…absolute heaven! It’s honestly one of the best parts of the whole experience. The salon has such a warm, welcoming vibe, and Jade and her dedicated team ensure you're completely after from the moment you walk in. Thank you for always working your magic—see you next time!

best hair salon ive been to! i arrived early and was greeted by jane who was bright & bubbly and she sat me down early to get started! i was nervous enough already trying a new salon out but was definitely made comfortable straight away!! melissa did my hair and my god did the after look so much better than the before… it was a literal transformation! i cant get over how good my hair looks and how pretty i feel! i’ll definitely be back and i recommend this to anyone and everyone! dont be shy, take the chance and you wont regret it! thank you jane & melissa.. you’ve made me feel pretty again!

First time I got my hair done at this salon Hayley done a wonderful job on my hair her prices are good also will be coming back for sure n will be telling my friends and family.

I haven’t had my hair cut in over a year and have struggled finding a hairdresser that is skilled at cutting curtain bangs and layers. Haircuts at other salons always felt choppy and I left feeling like I had a mullet. Malak blew me away with his focus and attention to detail. I could watch him all day cut peoples hair. He is so talented and gifted. He’s a magician! Malak thank you for saving my hair and making me feel myself again ❤️ 12/10 recommend! Now that I’ve found a hairdresser with such a high skill set & local, I will not be leaving my hair uncut for another 12months ever again.

Best hair salon so far that I’ve attended, every worker is very outgoing and welcoming they make you feel at home from the privacy to the work they provide!! Mel did an amazing job on my hair! The Bar uses great products and I didnt have any burning with the toner which I had got with other salons. Mandy does a great job with treatments and repaired my hair from extreme damage. I definitely recommend The Bar to anyone who wants to have amazing healthy hair!
