I have known Marta for about 6 years now (from before she opened Rest) and have followed her wherever she went… because I honestly think she’s the best beautician in Brighton! I love her energy too and always look forward to my treatment. Never been disappointed with Marta. Not even once. I absolutely love Rest, a little island of calm in busy Brighton. And not a cheap or tacky decor like a lot of other salons out there (sorry!) but a tasteful and very nice environment to unwind in. Thank you Marta :)

I’ve been going to Mairead since I was 15, 6 years later and I’ve never been disappointed. Mairead has always done such amazing work on me, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my brows. Always such a lovely atmosphere in the salon as well and always such welcoming and caring ladies. Always recommend when anyone asks where to get their brows done or where i get mine done. They will always shape your brows how you want and never do anything that wouldn’t suit you. Super lucky to have them so close to me <3

Any worries that I had at returning for the first time to a beauty salon disappeared when I saw Steph approaching the door, disinfecting her hands before opening the door, then disinfecting mine on entering. Every part of the salon has now been set up to keep their clients safe. Total professionals! Even though they have had to make changes with screens, social distancing etc the salon has still retained its calm ambiance! I never doubted Tessa and Steph, but needed to see it for myself! Wonderful experience!

We were in Brighton for the weekend and managed to secure last minute bookings (due to cancellations) for Mini Spa Treatment Package at Wellness&Beauty. We received a warm welcome from the friendly staff. I enjoyed a range of treatments, including a full body aromatherapy massage, facial, foot massage and back scrub. Gloria did a great job tailoring the massage to my preferences. I felt very relaxed and de-stressed after the session. I got there and was met by Ashley who was incredibly patient (it always takes me ages to choose a nail colour!) Then she removed my previous gel nail varnish with such care and professional skills. And did an excellent gel manicure, taking such care and was very kind and considerate. I had had a long day and was exhausting and Ashley’s care and excellence ended my day perfectly. I only wish this was my local salon! Thank you Ashley for a great manicure!

This was my first lash appointment with Eloise, the lashes look great but not perfect. The eyelash tint was perfect in terms of colour and detail, but I'm not over the moon with the lash lift. My lashes don't look that different and I've had lash lifts before. I would return though, as Eloise's salon is so comfortable and I like to go to her for nails so it seems right that I book my lashes in with her too. Thanks Eloise! Have a lovely holiday :) xx
