Had an amazing hair appointment for half head highlights with Crispin, he was super nice and listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. Really good knowledge of hair texture and colour I was impressed with it. It was a pleasure chatting to both him and the owner who gave me a lovely restaurant rec as I was visiting Brisbane. I want to thank Oxana, it was my first time visiting Melly's after trying a few different places since relocating to Brisbane and after explaining what I was looking for, Oxana did a great job on my brows and lashes. She listened to what I had to say and thoughtfully included me in the whole process. I hope I didn't scare her too much with my stories of previous experiences and expectations. It's hard finding someone in a new place when you've had the same beautician for many years. I look forward to my next appointment.

Amy does my nails better than anyone ever has (I also never stop getting compliments on them) And Charlotte recently fixed my hair after a few years of hair struggles and bad experiences. I love Mia Hair Studio - I stumbled upon Mia with a GroupOn for a Keratin Treatment. The keratin treatment was professionally done and has lasted ages (I have very thick, curly hair and in Brisbane humidity it can be hard to control - all great now). While there, I mentioned I needed a cut, which Mia had no problem doing - she heard what I had to say and gave me the perfect cut with the texture I asked for. I have also had colouring done and just love it. I also love that it's a small boutique - I can get my hair cut and coloured in 2 hours (if you know, you know! I can spend 4 hours!)
