It was my first time going to American Hair Barn. I went in for a long overdue root touch up and some highlights. Becky made me feel so welcome. She did a fantastic job on my hair. I will definitely go back.

I could FEEL the joy my two kids had after their haircuts with Makayla. One was literally dancing out of the salon. Makayla was kind, patient, and kept checking in with them as she cut their hair. We left the salon with two beautiful haircuts.

My first experience getting braids went very well. The vibes were vibing @ the studio and Amanda was great. There was a slight hiccup with the delivery of my hair, which delayed the start of my appointment, however, the staff was very apologetic and accommodating so that made the extra wait bearable. Amanda was very knowledgeable, fast and extremely helpful ready to answer all my questions without judgement. Definitely got me feeling like a whole baddie lol will certainly recommend and will be coming back

Nobody does my hair as well as Lia. The ladies here are the best in their craft. I won't even bother going into Boston or any other city again. The quality in service and true hospitality cannot be replicated. Any other salon I've ever been to anywhere just does not measure up. Thank you ladies for always keeping me looking my best. I leave as a new person every time! I cannot recommend this salon enough. I tell everyone I know to come here. This is the salon to choose. Period!

My sister, Ellen Casman, received the nicest haircut she has ever had from Johnayia last week. Ellen’s hair is thin and difficult to work with but Johnayia”s skill was amazing. She cut Ellen’s hair into layers and styled it in the most becoming way. Ellen looked lovely due to Johnayia’s expertise and knowledge of how to work with difficult hair.
